Hey Guys, I have a few questions/points, I was wondering what you guys think.

- If Daunte Culpepper is not going to ever be able to play again in the NFL, why would the Raiders pass on Russell, and trade for Culpepper?

- If our offensive line is in weaker shape then last year (I say that because we were a little more together 4 starters names, not saying they were better then what we have now, just saying) why get a QB who is one of the least mobile QB's in the entire NFL.

- Speaking on that previous point, that QB is one hit away from retirement.

- We traded a 5th round pick in this years draft for a QB no longer on the roster, why trade another pick this year for a QB who will probably not be on the team next year.

- Why can't we keep C-Pep?

- Why say you are happy with 10 picks, state you want more picks, and then mortgage our future to trade up in the draft. Techinically, if we trade up for Brady Quinn, and get Trent Green, we will lose at least 4 picks.

- Do you forget the last 2 first round drafts, and get the Best Player Available. If Landry or AP are there, do you take them?

- Can we got Peterson Brown for a year, and then trade Brown?
Don't bash me, Brown has been good, but he hasn't shown franchise back so far, sort of like a Magahee trade.

It is a Bluff by the Raiders.

Heck not to mention they thought Aaron Brooks could play too Passing on Lienert.

Culpepper will go to the Radiers ONLY as see fans we had a plan hence we could draft Johnson. But that does not mean Culpepper can play.

If there was another team looking for CP then I would be a little worried about getting rid of him, but the fact that the Raiders are does not mean a thing.

Hmm...Well, first off, we would trade for Trent Green because Cam Cameron doesn't have faith in Duante Culpepper and Trent Green can run his offense. If we did that, then we probably couldn't keep Cpep on the roster because of disharmony in the locker room.

I couldn't see anyone trading for Cpep, but Al Davis does seem to be losing it a bit, so one never knows.

We may not have to trade up to get Brady Quinn, but if we did, I would support that move, we need a young potential franchise QB of our own to groom and develop and Brady Quinn looks like as solid a candidate as any of us have seen in quite some time, so I'd look at maybe trading a 3rd (or possibly our late second) round pick to move from 9 to 6 an investment in the future not a mortgaging. It would only cost us ONE of those picks. As for a possible trade for Trent Green we have a plethora of late round picks this year, so trading one of those plus a conditional next year seems like a prudent move and not particularly expensive if Trent comes in and plays well for us for a year or two while we develop a young QB.

Regardless of what we do with our QB situation we need to improve our o-line, and it seems like the best way for us to do that is through the draft. Despite what we may or may not have to give up Quinn if the Browns don't take him, we should still have plenty of picks to get us some players for Houck to develop this season. The o-line situation is what it is, we need at least two draft picks from this draft to throw into the mix and even if we make a couple of moves for QBs we should still have plenty of ammo to add some players to the O-line.

We can't build our offense without investing draft picks in it, our defense is fine. The truth is we can't afford the BPA philosophy, anyone who thinks we can is kidding themselves. I mean, Cam and Mueller want to keep their jobs and to do that they need to show some results, where? On Offense, our defense is already solid...

Oh, and why trade Brown? Let's see if we can't get Ricky back, those two together are as good a one two punch as any in the league...

If Trent Green is one hit away from retirement, you have to say the same about Culpepper. If he ever does heal up enough to play again, you have to think that anything much more than a medium breeze would be enough to crumble that knee.

There is no SOLID read that cpep will not play again - I DO NOT want him to play for the Dolphins

As for an immobile qb, if you are talking about T Green - because he has the experience to get rid of the ball quickly and to the right location.

Up until last year, he has been one of the most durable qb's in the league. Yes he is one hard hit away from having oatmeal for brains, but so is every player in the league.

Cpep, IMO is not smart enough to have a medium talent team and make them better. His best years were when he had the opposing secondaries chasing Moss around the field. Leaving his other receivers wide open.

I don't think you have to trade up to get a really good qb in this draft, take the best player available and then target someone else, late first or in the 2nd round

As for Brown, look what he did two years ago with Williams back there. They also have a blocking FB for the 1st time.

All I have to say it our O-line will be built up from multiple picks, not just the #9. We can get starters in the later rounds. Some people assume Thomas is a franchise LT, but is a Robert Gallery or an Orlando Pace?
