Here is a summary of what happened during Saturday's two minicamp sessions, which featured Chad Henne running the first-team offense, and plenty of give-and-take from the offense and defense.
Overall, the offense, which scored five touchdowns in the two sessions, had a productive day.
Patrick Turner and Brandon London scored touchdowns during the Dolphins' 11-on-11 simulation. Chad Henne connected with Turner, Pat White found London.
DE Rodrique Wright collapsed the pocket on a second-and-6 play from the 10 and would have taken Pat White down for a sack.
Second-year guard Shawn Murphy spent all of Saturday with the starting unit. It's his second straight day working with the big boys.
DE Tony McDaniel was being used as a nose tackle in the nickel and dime packages of the defense.
Backup safety Courtney Bryan dropped an interception and allowed a breakdown that resulted in a touchdown catch during 11-on-11s.
CB Joey Thomas made a great play to pick off Chad Henne during the team's 7-on-7 portion of practice. First time I've noticed him all summer.
Patrick Turner made some nice catches during Saturday's afternoon practice. I'm finally seeing this reach people keep talking aboutBill Parcells and Jeff Ireland called over Yeremiah Bell and Will Allen one-by-one during practice. Both players left grinning from the talk.
