I KNOW Tony Sparano totally loves Nnamdi Asomugha, the Raiders CB. If he makes it to free agency, I can see the Dolphins talking to him.

or at least the franchise tag deadline so we know whose available.
 
Asomugha is a cert to be franchised and though his value will be high (2 first rounders I believe) wouldnt getting him make a whole load of sense? Not only would it give us 2 top corners but it would help in our battle to retain our divisional title, after all we do face Lee Evans, Randy Moss et all twice a year.

We could invest in a proven talent rather than take the rookie boom or bust gamble. Asomugha would make a lot of difference should he appear in the aqua and white
 
no i wuodlnt give anyone 2 1st rounders.
If I am miami, I go NT, ILB, OLB in round 1, and round 2. CB/S round 2-4.
If we go for Aso as a FA and get him then it opens up for us to select a CB a bit later in the draft round 4 or so with us resigning GOodman back.

I want a GREAT front 7 first and foremost. Look at the steelers almost all of our secondary players but mcfad and Troy were 4th round picks but evyerone on the D line to the LB core is basically round 1 and 1 or 2 round 2 players. good front 7 can make good CB look VERY good.

I would go for O line in FA to put some experience and vets on the line and hopefully walk away with a suggs, dansby or Aso in FA and the rest of the draft in teh top 4 rounds go all D.
 
Lets say we go Brown for C and Stinchcomb for RT. Our O line is set. I would possibly trade satele for a 2nd if i could if not thats a good battle at RG if not depth with 2 key G injured.

Then u have ur O line set hopefully and U can spend ur first 4 picks on a NT, OLB, ILB, S, and then CB if not vic versa. I really dont want hill back there anymore so maybe we can go for Atogwe in FA as he is a good player that wont ask for ALL that much.

2 years. 1 more year for him. i dont see a point in tagging him b/c if they are going to let him hit FA the year after cuz they have no choice he wont resign most likely cuz they suck 1 and 2 why would he want to go back to that organizatoin. might as well save that 10 mill or so they will tag him with and let him walk and build some talent on that team.

I belive we have 21.6 mill right now, holliday has a 2.8 mill salary next year but his cap is 5.6 i believe. I thnk he will get cut although hes a great leader. his sacks have been 2.5 and 3.5 last 2 yrs thats horrid. I rather cut him and sign canty to a decent contract half of that salary number.

Seriously. I have a feeling Nnambi Asomugha would LOVE to be a Miami Dolphin.
 
dude having Aso on the number 1 WR with most likely Bell in taht area u konw how much freedom that gives bell to ROAM around and do what he wants along with giving us the chance to blitz bell or another DB. WOW the options he gives are endless.

It would be expensive to get him, both financially and with draft picks ( who knows maybe we could do a deal to include our additional second rounder this year instead of that extra 1st ) but the added quality to our defense would sure be worth it

Is that true, because he was franchised last year and was very upset about it. I know that Haynesworth has a clause in his contract that he cannot be tagged again. Does Asomugha have one too? If the answer was in the link provided, it wouldn't open for me so I don't know.
