They looked like strong hands.
Here are 2 prominent QBs and their stats from 2002. Early in their careers. Comparable to Tannehill in their development.
RK PLAYER TEAM COMP ATT PCT YDS YDS/A LONG TD INT SACK RATE YDS/G
25 Tom Brady, QB NE 373 601 62.1 3,764 6.26 49 28 14 31 85.7 235
26 Drew Brees, QB SD 320 526 60.8 3,284 6.24 52 17 16 24 76.9 205
Pitiful YPA. If I was Shouwrong in 2002, I'd see those numbers and be pounding my fist about how these QBs are ****. They are below average. They need to be benched and replaced.
Why don't you all click this link and take a look at who was in the upper echelon of the NFL statistics-wise.

Jay Fiedler has almost 3/4 of a yard MORE per completion. Man, good thing we went with him instead of drafting Brady. That would have been a terrible ****ing mistake.
The point is stats tell you some stuff. But nothing in that line of numbers up there would have predicted that Brady would go on to have one of the most prolific careers of any QB. As would Brees, though he would have to change teams first. But anyone watching those guys saw the talent and watched as they learned and bloomed into what they are now in 2013. This is exactly what people are getting on Shouwrong about...
