John Murphy, of Yahoo! Sports, reports the Oakland Raiders spent time with Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn the past few days.

Not a real surprise. They have the #1 pick, so they are going to spend a lot of time with all the top players. Even Adrien Peterson will probably get a look from the Raiders, but it doesn't mean they will draft him.

As the holders of the 1st overall pick, the Raiders need to consider every player. Especially, if they are thinking about trading down.
I truly hope they trade for a QB in the FA season and take Russell as their franchise QB. Maybe the Phins can use one of their new picks to trade up for Quinn.

GOOD!! I hope someone grabs him before the #9 pick... BRADY QUINN IS OVERRATED!! I know I'm gonna hear it from all you Brady supporters but oh well...
 
have to use it as LEVERAGE in talking about a contract with Russell.

I'm not crying...no matter who gets picked before our pick, we end up with someone great. Now that we have picks, we can also start looking at the option of packages if need be.
 
That depends. Moss is slated to go to Greenbay for Aaron Rodgers. However, Raiders want a draft pick, so we'll see how that plays out. I think Raiders would go Russell over Quinn or at least I hope.

ILuvJuMiami, of Finheaven.com, reports that many teams will spend time with Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn in the next couple of months.
 
This just in, teams are actually checking out all of the top college players, and it seems some teams will be using a new stradegy called blowing smoke in order to attempt to lure other teams into trading up.....this league is really getting radical.

If they get Aaron Rodgers in a trade will they still pick a QB or will they draft Johnson? This could get interesting if they don't pick a QB.:goof:
