That is a ridiculous statement. Certainly not one that you can back up with facts.
QC was a huge mistake thanks to Jerry Jones trying to show the league how easy it was to be a GM.

I was noticing Quincy Carter was a FA not that im trying to bring down Feely or Gus by why didnt we ever give him a try I mean all we have to do is cut Berlin or send Sage back to the practice club.I really wonder why never gave him a try......Just wondering

The year the cowboys went to the playoffs it seem as if he had matured as QB.PArcells then found out about his cocaine problem and cut his ***.He was clean all of last year and when he replaced Penington he did a pretty decent job.I think it would he would be a good opponent to battle it out with Feely and Gus

It would not be a bad idea, except for the drug use. Saban seems willing to give players a second chance, as are the fans. Unfortunatly, coke is a serius issue and he would have to be 100% clean before we even gave him a look. For the record I think AJ Feeley is better than Quincy Carter

In my opinion, Carter is one of those players that will forever be judged by issues other than his on-the-field performance, regardless of how far back in the rearview he leaves his problems (which he admittedly hasn't even begun to do, apparently).

The first strike against him came from his draft position, which he obviously had nothing to do with.

The kid has had a lot of stuff exposed about him in the last year, and he's definitely still got business to take care of. However, he has an above-average arm and mobility, and by all accounts is a diligent worker/student of the game. Parcells himself praised him often leading up to Cowboys TC 2004 (right before the marijuana issue came out) for all the work he'd put in during the offseason, often staying at Valley Ranch for up to 10 hours a day working out and watching film.

Whether he'd be appreciably better than our top 2 right now is too close to call however.
