QUINN WON'T INTERVIEW AT PRO DAY
A league source tells us that the NFL teams have been advised by letter that quarterback Brady Quinn will not be doing any interviews with coaches or scouts at his March 4 Pro Day.
Um, yeah, that's a good way to reverse his potential free fall.
Quinn was once thought to be the first overall pick in the draft. Now, he'll be lucky to land in the top ten.

You know why he is doing this right?
IMO- He wants to come here and already know our offer. We have the people he has trained with and he knows he is going to start for us in 08.

So the best way to insure him still being there at #9 has been taking place the past 2 weeks. This is just another box check off on the list.

This is what's great about having Shea as Qb's coach Quinn can refuse all interviews and we can still talk to him. Perhaps a deal is already in the works, Phins move up to 5th spot so Quinn get's more money and Quinn refuses to interview with any of the other teams in return? Don't know just speculating but can't see why he would refuse to interview at his pro day unless he already had a plan in place.

He's a beach boy dude. Plus if he is down with miami we prob told him 2 **** up so some1 else doesn't take him.
Ala the browns tellin russell 2 delcare bc if he fals he is there's 100%

I didn't like the idea of Quinn at first but I'm warming up to him. The more things happen the more he will end up in Miami. I do believe we will trade up to #5 because one of these three: Quinn, Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas WILL be there. So no matter which you get you can't lose.

What? No, Joe thomas and Calvin Johnson are gonna go in the top 4. They wont be there at #5.

Quinn will be, but, like this thread said, he'll most likely be there at #9 too. theres no need to trade up.

I still haven't warmed up to Quinn and perhaps I never will. I'd rather have a QB that shows me that he's good rather than a QB that say's he's good and doesn't nothing to back it up. Being ****y won't take you far in the NFL.

I would love for him to fall. It's about time this franchise got a ****y sob player. Kind of reminds me of a guy named Marino.

I love the speculation. I hope he is psyched with Miami, after his interview with Cam, and Shea is working with us.
He is not a bad guy. He is really classy. He was never bad with the fans or the media in ND. Heèll do fine in Miami.

Who do you suppose will take them?

Unless Oakland makes the Moss for Rodgers trade they will go QB and take Russell or maybe even Quinn.

Detroit traded for a RT today and now have two starting tackles. They are in love with Adams rumor has it.

Cleveland loves Adrian Peterson, the only other guy they would consider is Russell.

Tampa would be left with a choice between Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn. Two of the three would be left.

If Oakland takes Johnson obviously this all goes out the window.

Look at last year. Cutler was a work horse, showed the scouts absolutely everything he could, and got drafted right next to Leinart, who did absolutely nothing and was ****y the whole time.

And in the end, they both did exactly the same last year.

you still might need to trade up with Minnesota to get Quinn. It all depends on what Houston does with their QB position next month. If they get Plummer and let Carr go, then Quinn is still a possibility for them. I think they have more pressing needs, but Quinn might be BPA for them
