BRADY WANTS TO BE A BROWN​

Word trickling out of Indy is that Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn is privately making it known that he wants to play for the Cleveland Browns.​

Quinn is an Ohio native. And the Browns hold the third overall pick in the draft.​

That might be a little high for Quinn, who during the 2006 college football season seemed destined to be the No. 1 overall selection.​
And there are conflicting reports as to whether the Browns would take Quinn or LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell in the three hole, which the Browns secured via a coin flip on Friday.

He said it wasn't true at his PC today. He said it's just a rumor that got started when he said it would be nice to play in his hometown but he will be thrilled with any team that takes him. He actually talked the most about Minnesota of all places in his PC.
 
This was probably started by his agent. He'll make more money at #3 than if his stock is actually dropping (which I don't buy).

Id be thrilled to get drafted too, but id rather play for the Browns then the Lions.
 
Whatever team Quinn gets drafted by is the team that'll need him the most. I do believe the Vikings or the Bucs would be a hot commodity for a QB like Quinn at this point. Simms hasn't shown us much at this point and the Vikes have squat....JaMarcus Russell will go in the top 10 no question...Quinn will as well...throw in Troy Smith...what do ya got?
 
Doesn't matter what he wants when it comes to be drafted if the team he wants to go to doesn't want him.

I dont understand why the Vikings would draft a Quarterback in the first round? They drafted a guy in the 2nd round last year, why would Childress draft another quarterback? That dont make sense, then again they had Spielman dont they?

That's what I keep saying. Jackson is a good looking QB. There is no way that they spend a 2nd, then spend a 1st the next year. Especially at a position like QB. I would say the same thing about the Browns. They spent a 2nd on Frye.
 
it sounds like brady really doesnt want to be a dolphin haha, i mean first he wants the #1 and now he wants the #3 when all the mocks have him at #9 to the fins...if he lands to us i just hope hes happy with the pick and comes out to be a good player, because im telling you the only team i can see brady going to other than us is houston. I like our odds therefore i dont like bradys odds and i can easily see him as the first drafted qb by the fins since dan marino
 
I cannot stand Qb's that pick teams to play for!! ala Eli Manning and ala Akili Smith Who wanted to play for Cincy!!! I guess i hate brady even more

Yeah, and he sees him as the next Donovan Mcnabb. I can see why the Browns want to draft a QB cause Frye hasent impressed. But the Vikings? Come on now, sounds like Rick Spielman is trying to get us to trade up. Im worried about the Lions and the Texans, and I dont think we will get our QB this year, cause it seems like every guy we want, gets taken before we pick.
