I have to come out and defend our gazillionaire boss genius owner. He did his due diligence and took 3 weeks to hire the very best Gm he could find. He interviewed 7 people or more and even took out some craigslist ads to find all viable candidates. After eliminating all the under qualified candidates he narrowed his list down to a final 2 including 5 candidates. Now most owners final 2 would only include 2 people but not our gazillionaire boss genius owner his math is better and more versatile because he is rich so he can never be wrong and if you think he is well your just hating on the fact that he wipes his rear with platinum baby wipes and you could never do that. Even if you could , you would have to use your actual hands and not your own personal manservants. The advantage with a final two including 5 people is that you have more people to confuse the media with. Ross hired the best candidate by far of all the people he interviewed. He knew he needed a person who had similar success to Ireland so he chose a guy who helped build a team with three straight losing seasons. So virtue of that we improved by two seasons, we basically decreased our failure rate by half. fo you slow people that's like doubling your money or losing only half as much. Depends if you are a pessimist or optimist. So lets all applaud our owner for the gazillionaire boss genius owner he is and show up in droves for this history he is building right before your eyes. Please disregard the jealous media and any personnel guy that says he turned us down or wasn't interested. Its not worth our time as fans. Just lay back and enjoy the ride. Stephen Ross Like a BOSS gazzilionire owner genius has it all handled .

Thats all well and good but in alot of peoples eyes hes a "buffoon" when it comes to football.

Well... aren't they? Teams accumulate yards and yards lead to points. So the teams that can consistently get the most yards of real estate usually wind up with winning records.

His Football IQ is in the "developmental" range.
 
Just as Ross is able to find capable companies/workers to build his buildings and just as he works with top real estate people from around the world. He needs to take that into the football world and hire people that are fully able to run a football team. To structure an NFL team the way he is doing, is not the work of a genius. He may be a wizard in real estate and other business ventures. Owning an NFL team he is a complete failure to date. Over 5 years and he is still going backwards. He has to have another agenda up his sleeve, none of what he does make any sort of sense.
 
Football is not real estate. The two are worlds apart.

The biggest disappointment for me is he's an absentee owner with a structure in place that requires a 24-7 hands on ownership approach.
 
Ross has started an amazing trend in the NFL now. I'm sure from now on every NFL will have 2 finalist that includes 5 candidates for any job opening. Just brilliant Mr.Ross.....have 5 guys so when the other 4 turned the half/job down you still have 1 guy left and of course I can't wait for Ross to tell us how Hickey was the guy he really wanted all along!! Can't wait for him to say thank you to all who turned the job down for that gave him more time to find the right guy and that guy is now in place!! Brilliant, just brilliant.
