I posted a similar statement about this and as usual these guys are full of ****.I cant wait till we take the jets out today and solidify our posistion as a contender

He is... but it doesn't mean he has to say that the Phins are going to be great again this week. If Randy Johnson pitches 8 shut out innings and the Yanks put up 17 runs in that game do you think people are going to give Joe Torre a hard time if he says that "we can't be as good as we were last game"? As a fan, you hope so but you're probably going to agree with him. That's ok though...we probably won't be as good as we were last week but that doesn't mean that we won't be good enough to beat the Jets!

I kinda see it jus the opposite. We can be better than last week and still lose. We made a LOT of mistakes last week. With all the first half mistakes it looked like more of the preseason. We were jumping off sides and making bad decisions, we can get better, a LOT better and I feel we will. The gliders will be better also however, and without the heat I REALLY doubt the Gliders will fold up at half time like the donkeys did last week.
This is a winable game, but it could go either way. It will be fun though,I can't wait.

I didn't know he picked us to lose that's ok. EVERYBODY (so called experts) picked us to lose in Week One and until we (particularly Gus) show some consistency, we will continue to be picked to lose.

This is a good test for us. Last week we did well on defense (for most of the game), and on third down conversions, but we still have work to do. It would be a big mistake to take the Jets at home lightly. Let's go Dolphins!!
