I found this article on thephinsider and they had these quotes at the end of the article. i thought it was pretty cool.

Greg Camarillo said about Henne
"He doesn't have ups and downs. He's not yelling at you, or screaming at you. He'll give you a quick motivational word and then he's a matter of business. That's what you need. You need a stoic leader."
"We knew what he was capable of. It's just a matter of time before the world knew."
So what's a "quick motivational word" in the huddle? Ronnie Brown gives an example
"He'd come in and say, 'Block 'em up. This is what we're going to do.'"
But Henne wasn't just like that during the game. Says Ronnie:
"He wasn't just calm and cool out there on the field. He was like that all week. He's just very comfortable."
Joey Porter ravedafter the game about the throw Henne made to Camarillo on that critical final 3rd down conversion to get the Dolphins inside the five yard line:
"I heard the ball pop off Camarillo's chest 45 yards on the other side of the field. Some quarterbacks might be nervous and not really throw it."
The bottom line here is that Henne not only gained some national exposure by playing brilliantly in only his second career start, but he also proved to his teammates the kind of quarterback he is - and might become one day. It's that kind of trust that is most important for a young quarterback to establish. And he's done just that.
Added Camarillo, summing up Henne's night:
"I'm super proud of the guy. He played great. He led the offense well and I hope he can keep it up. The coaches have faith in him, and now even the defense has faith in him. He's a heck of a quarterback, and a heck of an athlete. I'm excited to see what he does in the future."
But it's Henne himself who said it best. Other than the win, what's the best thing to come out of Monday night's performance?
"The whole offense can look me in the eye and know I can take them down the field in tight situations."

Not to rain on your quotes but I also remember the players ranting about Dante Culpepper. One difference though is that they are complementing him on his poise and confidence in the huddle, I hope he's the answer.

Daunte Culpepper never had a game like Henne in miami. And this was Henne's 2nd start. So no rain here. lol

But this prasi came from players during the preseason and before the season and going by practice and what they felt they had with Culpepper and his talent. These guys are going from the games with them playing along with Henne, plus not simply based on Henne's physical ability, but his intangibles, like poise, clutch playing, toughness, leadership and calmness during pressure times. And think this definitely shows a difference for sure.

Personally I like a Qb who gets on other players. Like Marino did. He yelled and things at linemen, wide receivers for various things they were or weren't doing. personally I want to see that kind of fire in Henne. Because the Qb is the leader and should know where everybody is and their assignments.

The difference is that Suckpepper was ACTUALLY garbage and because the team around him hadn't seen good quarterback play in awhile they thought at the time a gimpy Dumbte was actually special. When in reality, he sucked.

it was only his second start, and they were moving the ball pretty good. give him time, i'm sure he'll get more comfortable talking to his guys when they start f'ing up. lol

GOD I hope he is the one, I'm not ready to annoint him king after 2 games but it's sure looking good

For Joey Porter to say that about Henne speaks volumes. I have heard him echo similar thoughts on talk shows.

I am not surprised either. Those of us that are Michigan fans saw this for 4 years while uninformed fans based the WOLVERINES inability to beat Ohio State as the determining factor of Henne's ability.

true, but if memory serves me right,we didnt win a Super Bowl w/ the tactics of Dan the Man(no pun intended),so how about we try something different?

And a quote from Ronnie about Henne before the final scoring drive...

http://www.miamiherald.com/616/story...k=omni_popular

He even faced the huddle before the winning touchdown drive and said, in a manner that running back Ronnie Brown considered electric, "We're going down and scoring. We're not settling for a field goal."

thats a good one right there... love that confidence... and not just to have it in yourself, but to make the others around you share that same confidence

its not like saying "cmon guys, lets get a score here"... he wasn't asking, he was telling, like it was a fact, and that anything else was unacceptable... awesome

Poise is one of the most important attributes for a quarterback and Chad Henne has it.:D
