How do I quote what another member has posted in that cool blue box? When I do it there's quotation marks but no blue box around their post. Thanks

type "[qu ote]"(before) and "[/qu ote]"(after) around the text... except without the spaces that I put in there...

also... there is a button to the left of the "#" up above that looks like a cartoon caption kind of thing... if you hit that, it writes the quote things for you...

There are a few ways to do it....

The easiest would be to click

under the post you'd like to quote. Go ahead and click that button beneath my sig.

If you'd like to do it manually, the easiest way is to type what you want to type, then highlight the text by holding down the left-click button and dragging your mouse. After that, click

and the system will wrap the quote tags around the text. :)
