Stanford has a fractured fibula so he is gone for the season. It was reported by multiple reporters.

Too bad for him but on the bright side this is an injury that will have no long term ill effects on his playing unless the break was unusually bad - close to a joint impacting ligaments etc. It's not like a knee or something.
