Radical Femminists attacking Dolphins

No, to stop him from supporting wifebeaters. This is the second time now in about a year that this has happened. Randy had a chance to be a great tight end, but his wife beating antics are becoming way too much of a distraction to the team.

There used to be a concept known as innocent until proven guilty. Apparently it no longer exists.

There also used to be a concept of good teams and their fans caring about having upstanding citizens as their players. Apparently IT no longer exists.

Demand more of the players. There are plenty of people capable of playing in the NFL who simply don't get the opportunity because of the limited roster-space. If someone screws up, say NEXT and bring in somebody who cares about being a good role model for their community.

That's an admirable ideal, but impractical and league-suicidal, if you want people to watch the NFL every sunday.

Of course, with that plan, eventually you won't have to worry about it at all.

There are radical groups for everything today. Most of the people in these groups have nothing better to do with their lives but ***** and complain about everything.

i dont care what a person does in their personal life...pple deserve 2nd chances (regarding elam) and mcmike, he prolly hits her around alot...especially since he has been cought twice now, but i dont really care...what he does in his personal life is of no matter to me, just be ready for the seaon..and the nfl will prolly suspend mcmike :/

With the Elam Situation-------Yea, its extremely stupid

these radical fems act that somebody who has served their time and payed their dues cant work ever again. The NFL is a business. A guy deserves to work and make money when they get out even if they are a convicted rapist. These women expect him to sit and do nothing the rest of his life. Thats some mighty bs

We are obviously off track here. Ok there has been men abused by their wives i never heard of it but hey i guess it could happen. The point I am making is that randy should not be getting treated any different that any other wife of husband beater thats all.

True. Randy should be treated like any other person in this situation. That would mean probation, perhaps a fine or some community service. Tops. No jail time. \

Let's face it. What he did was a misdemeanor. Some of you people are talking like he needs to be locked up for life or something.

And yes....some women DO abuse their men. Some women get all crazy and aggressive, throw stuff, break stuff, yell, etc. Let's not assume that women are the only victims. Women just get away with more because men don't generally get badly hurt and can usually handle it. The world is not black and white!

As per my previous post - I'm not saying it's ok for Randy to be smacking his wife around. Just that legally speaking it is a misdemeanor.

I remember when about two years ago with my girlfriend - We were out shopping and I squatted to take a look at an item in a lower display case. Little did I know that she squatted next to me to look at the same item. On my way up, I didn't notice how close she was to me and i elbowed her, with pretty good force, in her right eye, giving her a helluva bruise and breaking her glasses. I had to meet her family for the first time that weekend, and I remember the looks on their faces when she tried to convince them it was an accident. I still feel like they judge me for the possibility that I may have beaten their daughter/sister and there is no way I can prove what actually happened unless I bring the store clerk in as a witness.

I'm not saying whether Randy is innocent or not, but accidents can happen, especially when you're drunk.

And during this incident where you accidentally elbowed your girlfirend, were there 4 witnesses that stated in a police report "they saw you throw your girlfiriend against the display. One witness told police he saw the boyfriend throw his girlfriend away from the display several times"?
