I should probably know this but what is the issue with Raekwon Davis? I know he’s out but what’s his injury and when is he coming back? We need this guy.
He's not out. He played against the Bengals. I don't know how many minutes he logged, but I know he didn't do much.I should probably know this but what is the issue with Raekwon Davis? I know he’s out but what’s his injury and when is he coming back? We need this guy.
He played a fair amount of snaps in a couple games if I’m not mistaken. Didn’t notice him but he is generally stout against the run and I feel like so have we as a team.Holy ****, I forgot all about Trey Flowers, has he done anything? Obviously Ingram has been a great add but really thought this guy had a little left in the tank. He was good in NE, not so much in Detroit. Maybe a schematic fit that teams such as NE and Pitt can get the most out of and when they chase the dollar they look mortal.
10 day break a big help there.A bunch of guys practicing that have been banged up. Good to see
I'm hoping he's got 2.Big man’s got a knee
How can anyone be excited about Raekwon Davis? He's a big guy who is not capable of doing much of anything out there. His RAS score wasn't a disaster but the standout categories were all the red numbers equating to Very Poor Agility.Davis is the guy that I’m not really sure how effective he ACTUALLY is. No one has been as excited by him as Brian Flores was.

I admit I haven’t been impressed w him but that’s based on splash plays or lack there of. No kidding. That quality shows up every week. I watch him every play and all I can think about is that he's like a regulator to the entire team. Nobody with serious deep playoff intent would be starting a player like that on the interior of the defensive line. There was a reason the top Alabama fans and personnel guys here were ridiculing him prior to that draft. They aren't accustomed to fielding such a limited athlete.
Nobody gashes his area. That's the good news. But what's he going to do if he's in the vicinity of the running back or once/twice per year the quarterback? He can't make plays given he's such a klutz. Once in a while he surges forward and he'll wrap up the runner in traffic.
Davis is a guy who'll look fine in these scrum games against Crap teams or lower tier Crowd teams. Meaningless. You've got to have higher aspirations. Every time I watch the 49ers defense it's laughable to imagine them starting such a non-threatening type of player. McDaniel had to absorb his first season. I hope he's more blunt and involved regarding personnel matters beginning this offseason.
He's play 3 games and has one solo tackle and 3 assists. Zero for everything else. Don’t know how many snaps he's played. I should say that you can’t always measure the success of D-linemen based on stats but so far Davis and Flowers haven’t really done much.Holy ****, I forgot all about Trey Flowers, has he done anything?
