Rag Doll Grant gif??????????

Return men seem like they get the most death threats from psychotic morons. See Leodis McKelvin, Kyle Williams, Josh Morgan, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, etc. I have respect for guys that have the balls to stand alone out there and catch a punt with guys running down the field with the intent of splitting them in two.

Amen. Some fans are either to young or ignorant to understand all returners fumble. Fulton Walker would have been the MVP of the SB vs the skins bad we won. He broke the record at the time for KO return yards in a SB - it wasn’t just the 1 TD. He had several great runs.

Then the next year in the division playoff at home in the rain vs Seattle he fumbles a kickoff late after Seattle had taken a 4 point lead. The D holds and forces a FG so now it’s a 27-20 game and Dan still has 1 more chance to tie it up. But alas, Walker fumbles the next kickoff AGAIN and Seattle can take knees. Grant didn’t do anything even remotely close to costing us a playoff game (and we probably go to the SB that year) but people hating on him - for being the franchise’s all time return leader w 5 TDs in 5 years. No one else is close to him.

Look, I dont want the guy hurt or anything but while he's a great returner sometimes, his football IQ is so low that...I don't know, it was just like...yeah you deserve that for playing so poorly mentally and physically sometimes.
 
I still love Jakeem, he’s so exciting. Too bad he’s not very good at football lol

Yeah, didn’t like Jakeem on the team myself but all these idiots getting personal about it is beyond me. Just shows we have a lot of teenagers posting on this site. Oh well,

What’s this latest myth? Grant has 5 return TDs as a Dolphin in 5 years. That’s best in franchise history.

As for his over-hyped fumbling problem. Grant lost 5 fumbles in his career here. 4 on returns and 1 on a reception. He had 0 fumbles in 2020. He had 2 this year - the one on the catch against Buffalo and the muff - those likely led to his being traded as a bit of a scapegoat. Grant earned the trade by playing poorly this year, no doubt. But the season is young and just about everyone is playing poorly.

Again, about these fumbles. He had 5 total in 5 years. And he had gotten better every year at protecting the ball.

I think every player on this team is trying to do a little too much right now and are making mistakes. Jakeem included. But not good at football?

I love Jakeem, but you can’t trust him to catch the football. That’s a huge problem…
