I think TB hired him to run the ship way too early. Firing Jon Gruden was a mistake, Wannstedt-esque collapse or not.

it's his own damn fault. releasing guys like brooks and june and trading the #4 overall pick in '07 for a 2nd rounder - with no real talent behind them to pick up the slack - was just dumb for a first year coach who would want to keep his job for another year. tampa's in serious trouble for a while - when you suck at offense, defense, and coaching - you're screwed. sucks for bucks fans.

They shouldn't have ever fired Gruden, he may not have been an outstanding coach, but he's one of the best available.
