Raheem Mostert resigns with Dolphins

Seeing a lot of "we need a bruiser" posts. Mostert might not be as much of a bruiser as Henry but he's a tough runner with good speed who runs through and/or breaks tackles. Not buying it? Check the 2022 highlight reel below. Some of these runs look pretty bruising to me.

Mostert is tough and if he could've gone (without hurting the team) he surely would've. Mostert not playing didn't lose us that game, Coach McD screwed the pooch on that one. Raheem will be a complimentary/time share back who makes more than enough big plays to earn his modest salary. I think we'll all be glad he's a Phin this year Doc.

Playoff games, I just think you make every effort to get on the field,
(Perhaps I don’t know the whole story…..and jumping to conclusions, maybe he wanted to play and coaches held him out since team DR’s were still under scrutiny for the handling of Tua??)

I had a broke thumb as a kid (somebody can’t bunt a baseball 🤦 it wasn’t all that painful)
I’ve just seen boxers, break hands and finish fights, Derek Henry break his foot and continue to play, Mahomes did everything possible after a high ankle sprain to get on the field his last 2 playoff games, and let’s not forget Mr Ronnie Lott, cutting a finger off at halftime of a game and returning in 3rd Quarter.

It’s also possible I’m a bitter Asshole…… (I am!!)
and still holding a grudge about getting beat 3 times in the playoffs by Buffalo in the 90’s!!
Forgive me for being a passionate fan.
I JUST HATE THE BILLS!!! (Sue me!)
and didn’t want another playoff loss to them!
Thought Mostart would’ve gave us a better chance to win even with a broken thumb to run over them again like he did the week before Christmas.

I hear ya bro, I too am an asshole and also hate the Bills, I wanted that damned game soooo bad. I seem to recall hearing that Raheem just couldn't grip the ball and that he and the team were not comfortable with him taking handoffs left handed.

I was so mad after that game, if it was any other team besides Buffalo, I would’ve been fine with it, and just moved on! 😞
But I can see that POV especially with a 3rd string QB handing him the rock. He did resign a bargain contract, so not gonna complain about the price, let’s hope Marino sends him some isotoners to protect them digits!! Ha!
