Has anyone seen this? Espn insider is saying that the Raiders are back in the hunt for Culpepper, anyone else hear this?

To tell you the truth, i hope that your FO goes with Culpepper rather than Bree's, and i am not saying this because im a Jet's fan and want you to get screwed, im saying this because look at what we are and have been going throught with Pennington, i think that Drew's shoulder is more serious than what was reported. I don't wish what we have been going through on anyone.

a nice jets fan ? I just had to look outside of my cubicle and see if snow was falling in miami or pigs were flying.

thanks dude I hope nobody ever has to go through such problems as you all have with pennington. It is more fun when we are both good and beating up the pats. (Of course best is miami is number 1 :) )

Hopefully whomever we get is healthy and long term here. I miss stability at the QB slot.

Wolf in sheep's clothing

That is why we need to know the Brees situation as soon as possible or we might end up with neither.

re:

The Raiders can have Culpepper and his mangled knee and party boat if they want it. They know he wants to go there because they'll throw 50 passes a game and he can put up some huge numbers and he'll have Moss and Porter to catch his bombs. They'll still be horrible, 8-8 at best. They're in what, their 9th rebuilding year? It only took Miami one.

if we dont get one of these guys maybe we get a guy with no broken parts

The Raiders are gonna draft Young
I highly doubt it.

As for Culpepper, I just read a topic in Raidersfan.com where they posted that an NFL Reporter just said the Vikings WILL not let any non-Viking team doctors give out any information regarding his badly injured knee. They also posted that there is a great chance that Daunte Culpepper won't be ready untill the middle of the season, and SOME say his knee might be so bad, that he should just sit out 2006 to let his knee FULLY recover.

Drew Brees already have shown his X-Rays to OUR team doctors without any worries nor concerns, and we already know what the deal is. If the X-Rays he showed to the Dolphins team doctors were that bad, Nick Saban wouldn't still be interested in Drew Brees at the moment. So really, his shoulder must be fine and recovering well.

I don't think Nick Saban would trade a damn thing with Minnesota unless he sees positive X-Rays from Daunte's knee. And right now, Minnesota isn't going to give us that information. Positive meaning - he will be able to come to training camp or to the start of 2006. Doubt Nick is planning to pay a guy to have a sit down for half the season.

Daunte's has alot more question marks than Drew Brees right now. Daunte hasn't played to his full potential since 2004, and now it looks like he won't be ready till the middle of the season.

Will he bring his 2004 performance to Miami?
Will he be ready mentally and physically to start for us in the middle of 2006? How well will he fit in our system?
Will he ever be the same again?
Will the sex boat charges affect him/will the charges drop and plead him not guilty, and how well will his off the field issues and personality fit with the locker room?

I was wondering if someone could answer this question.....

I know moss wanted out of the vikings organization because of his problems off and on the field.. and with alot of the team..
but wasnt one of the main reasons

that he critizised culpepper and wanted to play for a different QB?

and even after he joined oakland he was ripping culpepper..
why would the raiders want to rejoin the two

Because they are both humans, and can both put the past behind them and forgive each other for the headache's they both have caused in the past.

Come on people, they aren't from another planet.
