Raiders sign Jeff Garcia

Just saw it on the bottom line on ESPN. Breaking News; Jeff Garcia signs with the Oakland Raiders.

I feel bad for anyone that signs with the raiders. Al Davis has run that team into the ground.

Yeah, it's the Raiders. However, Jeff is a Bay Area native so it's home for him and he'll probably end his career there.

I would like to know the money involved but as long as its fair it is a good signing for both parties. He will only be backing up Russel and probably wont see any playing time. He is there to retire, so it isnt as if the Raiders could deystroy his career. Tampa crapped all over Garcia let him go back to the SF area and retire there. He might be good for Russel too. Garcia is a smart veteran with strong leadership qualties, maybe some of that will rub off onto Russel.
