Raiders Strip OC from playcalling duties.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp has been stripped of play-calling duties.
The newspaper reports that "coach Tom Cable presumably is in charge of the play-calling." Lane Kiffin was criticized for his play-calling prior to being fired, but the Raiders' 19.5 points per game with him at the helm looks like an offensive explosion compared to their 7.0 points per game under Cable.

Well it makes it harder for us to prepare...but on the bright side it is yet another wrench for Oakland who are already in a state of disarray to begin with. They have so many problems right now, a solid showing by our offense should be able to put them away quickly.

Also for those worried about this just think about how well we did last year with a head coach who thought he'd try and play OC at the same time...I rest my case, see you all at the victory party. :lol:
 
I said it when they fired Lane Kiffin. His play calling and offensive game plans were the only thing keeping that putrid offense afloat. I was continually amazed how he could produce points and run production like he did with the offensive linemen, receivers, and quarterbacks that he had to work with. Even the running backs, I mean Darren McFadden was a huge boost but he got great production out of Lamont Jordan and Huggybear Jr. too.
 
Well I really hope it helps us win. The fact that they lost their starting C won't help much. Aside from Walker and Miller the only person who worries me is Fargas. Miami did real well against the Broncos zone blocking so I hope we can stop these guy from running.
 
As long as Lane Kiffin is not there, I do not believe they will do to us what they did a year ago.
 
so who is the raiders head coach at the moment ? I bet they miss John Gruden.
