Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports the Oakland Raiders have been in contact with the agent of unrestricted free-agent QB Tim Rattay (Buccaneers).

You think if the Raiders sign him there might be a chance they take Calvin Johnson. Another thing is why dont we offer them Daunte just to see if they bite. I would take anything froma 4th to a 7th for Daunte.....

ya i think so too. CJ is WHO they want and trying to find an excuse to do so. i sure HOPE so cuz then its adams or Thomas at 2nd, russell 3rd and if bucs dont take quinn he hsould be ours.

Quinn could be ours i Mueller decides to trade and Minny doesnt draft him. I think everyone knows Minnesota will draft Quinn if he is there or are creating a big smoke screen....

Alot of their players are saying the quaterback they drafted last year whos name escapes me now is their guy and fully expect him to be their starter.

Tarvaris Jackson was their 2nd round pick last draft, so it will be hard to justify high picks at QB in consecutive drafts. But their picking would be guided under the idea of developing BQ during 2007 and trade TJ next season. Even at that approach, it's more likely that Detroit or Browns pick BQ.[/SIZE]

Hopefully they will. Personally that would be a hell of a draft if you ask me, you take the best players in the draft who is a WR and you take a QB with all the potential in the world and super athletic.

yeah, but this is their M.O. is it not? they will take him, draft kolb in the second, and will allow them to take CJ with the first. Moss and CJ and Porter? You could start Leaf at QB and I would still be scared to death to defend lol. By the way I pick Kolb in the second and it might be kinda high, but from many things I have ready they really like him.

The same could be said about McNown who they are supposely trying to trade for.

Hey BTW where do you think you boy Leak goes. Alot of people have not been to high on him, but I personally think he will be a pretty good if not decent QB. I love the spiral the Kid throws.

I just dont think Leak is going to equate to much in the NFL. But back to the topic at hand, I really see them taking CJ. But with Al Davis, no one knows what he will do.
