The Rams will interview Atlanta director of player personnel Les Snead and Baltimore director of player personnel Eric DeCosta for their general manager job according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Very interesting that the Rams have began their search for a GM when all reports said Fisher would be given full power or would be given the opportunity to pick the Rams next GM. I don't know but it looks like the Rams could be preparing themselves incase they don't sign Fisher. Also if the money the Dolphins offered Fisher is not even close to what the Rams are willing to pay it could explain why they could be moving on.

So many reports, so little legit explanations... so confusing...

Eric DeCosta is a tremendous talent for any team to pick up...

I have advocated the Fins go that route, hire Billick, keep Nolan and get Jedd Fisch as OC...I think that is a quality organization.

I also just read that the Rams are going to interview Bowles to satisfy the Rooney rule.

I would be ECSTATIC if we landed both Billick and DeCosta!

If a team has a chance to pick up DeCosta OR Fisher, you go DeCosta.

Guy has apparently been brilliant while working under Newsome and the Ravens have tried repeatedly to keep him on as the heir apparent. It sounds like the Rams are just doing their best to cover all their grounds.

one of the guys the Rams have asked permission to interview is Brian Gaine. Who is that? OUR Director of Player Personnel (was the assistant director before this year)

Damn I wanted DaCosta with the fins, we are stuck with Ireland.

Wonder if Dolphins can block the Rams from interviewing Todd Bowles.

and why the heck would they want to?

bowles can blow out of town NOW as far as i am concerned. his units havnt been exactly stellar. he has no REAL specialty or talent that makes him worth gambling our future on.

just another guy a new coach would have to give the boot to.

rams [or whoever] can have him. i'll even give him a ride!
