Per Tony Riali on PTI...take it for what it's worth. Sorry if it's been posted already.

The only surprise would be if the Rams didn't deal the 2nd pick away.

I wished we sucked enough in 2011 to have that pick outright...

/sigh
Yeap. those wins are meaningless and I won't even remember them. Just basically a bunch of guys desperate to keep their jobs trying to win some meaningful wins for themselves.

I can't see Fisher trading with us after this off season and I think Ross wants nothing to do with him. In the end, I don't believe we have enough to move up without giving away too much. I think we'll get Manning or Flynn and use our picks to get weapons for whichever QB ends up with us.

Ozzy rules!!

I think there's a good chance if we ended up with that pick legitimately, (which was a pipedream considering the talent on our team vs the Rams), we would have ended up also with "Coach Mediocre," Jeff Fisher.... and then of course with Brian Schotty. So if that's the case, somethings happen for a reason and it's all's well that ends well. :idk:

who wants it more and willing?my guess would be redskins...stranger things have happened though.

The Rams are desperate to trade that pick and for good reason. They have holes galore and there's really no other player outside of Griffen that should be picked 2nd. Everyone in the media assumes the Browns will trade up for him but I wouldnt be so sure. The only reason the Browns have to trade up is the fear of someone else trading up because the Rams arent taking Griffen. The Vikings pick 3rd, they arent likely to take Griffen either (although they should) but they could always draft him and work out a trade if they havent by the time the clock runs out. If Im the Browns and I dont think a team is going to pony up for the #2 pick, I just swap picks with the Vikings to make sure I get Griffen. The Vikings would gladly drop back 1 spot and it wouldnt cost the Browns nearly as much as it would to get the Rams pick. If Im the Redskins, Dolphins, (whoever is still interested in RGIII) come draft day, Im making a pact (if possible) to not make a deal with the Rams, force them to draft Kalil/Blackmon/Claiborne and working out a deal with the Vikings.

Media acts like its a foregone conclusion the 2nd pick will get traded but if somebody like the skins pick up Manning to go along with whoever picks up Flynn, it could really narrow the teams who would be willing to trade up. In other words, I wouldnt be surprised if the Rams are stuck at 2 and I wouldnt be shocked if RGIII could be had at 4 without the Browns trading up. I think its more likely someone trades with the Vikings for Griffen (if hes there) than they do the Rams.

and the browns feel the same way. I think they stay right where they are. they want their two picks and hillis is leaving im hearing.

Its between Washington and us. But per Omar, yeah, omar, I know....washington is hot for Flynn.

I think its kinda moot though should Peyton come Miami way starting next week. Peyton starts the whole ball rolling.

btw, has anyone ever thought just to get the #3 pick, not #2? We know St louis aint pickin rg3.

I still can't fathom why the media thinks the Browns want Griffin. They have McCoy who is ideal for the WCO.

The Vikes just got Ponder and would bet they draft Kalil or Claiborne. Should the Vikes draft RGIII; Perhaps Miami could work out a deal for Ponder?

If the Rams were smart, they would draft RGIII, trade Bradford for a high pick. Hell you could probably trade him to whomever gets shut out of Manning / Flynn sweepstakes. washington would probably trade their # pick for him. They would get rid of Bradford's monstrous contract, and RGIII has a much higher ceiling IMHO.

How dare them try to win games for their pride! They should've just laid down and took a beating. That's what men do.

True, but I don't think any team wants to take on Bradford's contract.
