It's a 4 year deal worth $24M ($12M guaranteed)
He's a classy guy, and I wish him the best. Wish we could have kept him here. Solid guy on and off the field.

"Thanks to the @MiamiDolphins and all of the fans for the best 4yrs of my life! I'm gonna miss u guys!," Langford tweeted Saturday. "Now it's time to start a new chapter in my life here wit the St. Louis Rams and I'm pretty excited about it."

About what I expected him to sign for. So much for those who thought his value was in the 3 million a year range.

One of the best non first round draft picks we have had in Miami in quite some time. I wish him well.

Some comments on this

Great pick up for the RAMS...very underrated player in my estimation and should make Chris Long that much better....Vote Ron Paul

Another blunder on the part of the Dolphins. How do they let him get away... I CAN'T stand Jeff Ireland!

How will Miami replace all of his sacks now? lol Dude won't be missed.

As a 'Fins fan this pains me to let him go. Langford was a very consistent and healthy DE...why they let him go is a mystery, and should help an already solid line in St. Louis.

Sucks to see him go, but our cap situation blows and we still need to fix the right side of the o-line, bring in a pass rusher, and sign a quarterback. No way we could afford to keep him.

Would have been nice to keep him, but as soon as Soliai was re-signed it was unlikely that he would be back. I wish him the best

He was a good player. Very strong and was amazing against the run. I felt in a 4-3 he could be put inside some. His sack production is kinda why I think Miami moved on and since we have ordrick maybe they are similar players to Miami just ordrick a better pass rusher

Is anyone really that upset? I'm sure he was viewed as a nice player but I honestly can't remember 1 or 2 impact plays he made in any game. Nice player....but I'm not upset.

Good luck to him. No wonder Miami didn't sign him. He got a pretty big contract.

As they said on NFL network this am. The term overpaying for FA's has become a cliche'.
You may have thought he was worth 6 million/yr, but most of the league didn't.
As others have stated, as a solid DE, he represents a core type player, but not an impact player. As such, 6 million is overpaying.

$6 mil per...although the rams play a 43 so i don't know that they'll get their bang for their buck...anyways thanks for the four years kendall...your a solid pro and i wish you the best
