good players want ****ing PAID... we don't get that through our heads... we keep getting guys like (insert name nobody knows)... and keep bombing the afc east...

Good for him, he'll help solidify their line with Chris Long. Not a bad deal. I think Odrick will be a fine replacement regardless of what D we run
 
I liked Langford. He was a solid player, but I'm way happier that the Dolphins re-signed Solia over him for about the same money. Solia is a better player and was more sought after than Langford. I think the Dolphins got a bargain with Solia.

I don't know if he is a better player per say, he certainly was more valuable as he is a 3-4 NT, a pretty good one at that, and they don't grow on trees. Even in a 4-3, having that big man in the middle just means so much to our defense this season. I can see us running a more versatile defense and Soliai is going to be a big part of that. Langford is arguably the 3rd best DT on the team had he stayed (Starks/Odrick) yet making the most money, just not a good move to keep him at this time at that price.

I also think at 6 million per, we got a solid deal on Soliai. I'm sure he was expecting closer to 8 million a year and more years and more guaranteed money.
