Ramsey Trade Becoming Problematic?

Question for those in the know, why can’t the dolphins get some of if not a majority of his contract nullified for refusing to play and demanding a trade. as far as I’m concerned, that’s on him not the Dolphins.
It's strange how the narrative on this has evolved. Grier wanted him to take a paycut on the contract extension that Grier have to him last year then Grier announced that they would "mutually" agree to seek a trade. When did Ramsey demand a trade? He seemed fine with playing on his current contract before Grier decided to kick this all off. This entire mess was created by Grier from handing out the extension to seeking a paycut then whatever happened to them "mutually" seeking a trade instead of just accepting Ramsey playing on his current deal.
I don't like Ramsey and thought trading for him was dumb, but why are we acting like he started this?

I don't know this, so how do you? He said he did not want to play here. Maybe a novel solution, ask him to take a pay cut with a substantial signing bonus. We are going to have to pay some of it anyway might as well go ahead and do it. When he refuses, if he refuses, suspend him without pay. The players union will scream bloody murder but you have a grievance. He wants out of Miami, we want to accommodate, if he won't play let him sit. Conduct detrimental to the team. Fight it out in court. Probably would not work but might force the issue to a resolution.

I believe the narrative of Greer asking him for a pay cut is incorrect.

Terrible situation that Grier has put us in. Without Ramsey, our CBs are totally unproven on the outside. In a make it or break it year for this regime, it already feels broken and we aren’t even in camp yet. Ridiculous.

I would say more unconfirmed than incorrect. It hasn't been credibly reported by anyone. That doesn't mean that it's wrong, we just don't know. To be fair, it SOUNDS like the kind of thing that could have happened, just because it's so boneheaded that it could only be a Grier/Dolphins move to give a guy a pointless extension, then ask him to take a pointless pay cut, thus causing a pointless falling out. But it could just as easily be false too. I'm honestly surprised that there hasn't been any credible report on what caused the split though. Seems like the kind of information that should have gotten out by now one way or another.

I'm all for tampering if it gets Ramsey outta here. Hell, at this point I'm hoping McDaniel is texting McVay daily and saying "Don't forget to call Jalen today" , encourage that isht and get Ramsey gone. I'm over it

His calf atrophied after his surgery and didn’t respond to rehab.
Not every surgery/rehab goes well.

It’s widely known that Ramsey and McDaniel had issues, has nothing to do with Grier.
Maybe Ramsey was pissed off at McDaniel for calling fourth and one plays and failing inside our own 50 multiple times throughout the year. Putting the defense in terrible situation all year. That well maybe why Vic Fangio bolted as fast as he could.
