Ramsey Trade Becoming Problematic?

I'd like to see Kohou and two of the young, unproven corners nail down the three starting CB spots and play 17 games each. Duck and Isaiah Johnson, for example. There is something to be said for continuity in the secondary. Almost as much as on the OL.
On top of that, I'd like to see them play those positions as well, or better, than those whom they are replacing. Good, better, best. - LOL

Well it was 1985 and the guy in my platoon that did it had a worse time than he would have if he did basic.
When I went through basic the guys that quit during week 1 handed all our families programs on graduation day. They were stuck there longer than we were.

That would certainly be ideal, but it's asking a lot of 3 undrafted players. I'm all for going through some growing pains, but if the team winds up more competitive than expected, we may regret not stabilizing the position. In either case, I'm not sure our 2026 starting boundary guys are presently on the roster or available as free agents. I have zero faith in Cam Smith, and by your own list, I think we share that opinion.

Why can't we just keep him for 1 more year? It makes no sense.

What he's a locker room cancer? Maybe that locker room needs a little cancer, it definitely needs something.

This is a business and we f****** own his rights. Play or give us our money back b****, nobody wants your a**.
Agreed. I’ve been asking the same thing more or less. If we can’t get value, keep him. These guys are competitors. He’ll play hard. And who knows? Perhaps he even has some fun while he’s at it?

No it isn't. Much like 'Grier asked Ramsey to take a pay cut,' 'Ramsey and McDaniel had issues' has never been credibly reported by one single person. There is literally not one single shred of evidence to suggest that's true. It's all rumor and innuendo that does not, in any way shape or form, originate from a credible source.

This simply isn't true. The issues between McDaniel and Ramsey have been reported by multiple sources. It's not difficult to look up.

Here's what I find interesting:

As much as the OP likes to make assumptions about things, string the assumptions together, and then make posts that try to link Tua to the Kennedy assassination, what if he used his powers for good and started a thread like, "Was Jalen Ramsey Part Of The Reason Vic Fangio Wanted Out Of Miami?"

Yes, he was the main source. Disliking a guy and suggesting he fabricated something are two different things. Are you suggesting he just made it up?
No I'm not suggesting it, I'm plainly stating it. Armando is as big of a hack as they come, and the outfit he works for (Outkick) is a total joke. If you think Armando Salguero has exclusive info about Jalen Ramsey that nobody else has in the year 2025, you're a total sucker.

There's no reason to think he'd play for us if we refused to deal him. The opposite is true - there is every reason to think he wouldn't play for us. He wants to be traded. We want trade him. If we suddenly changed our minds and said 'jk we don't want to trade you,' that doesn't change the fact that he wants to be traded. Whatever animus he has towards the Dolphins, if any, would be multiplied by us going back on our intent to trade him. He would fake injury to still get paid the way he has done before in Jacksonville, and we would be stuck playing for a disgruntled player who won't play for us. There is no upside.

I see. Considering the number of media outlets that used his report, let's just say that a lot of people disagree with you. Far be it from me to defend Armando, but I've never known him to just make **** up.

I'll tell you what; why don't you list the people you find credible, and we'll keep an eye out.

lol... you don't think its weird that they gave him an multi year extension just one year ago and now Chris Grier is very ambiguously trying to trade him and that the situation is SO completely unworkable but no one is saying anything about it?

Well, that makes one of us.
You didn’t mention anything about his contract, you just said the situation was weird and no one from the organisation was talking about it.

The extension was a mistake, you would think that Grier learned his lesson from X but I guess he’s a slow learner.

As for the other part being weird, I don’t think so. It’s just Ramsey is an asshole and the Dolphins are done with him. Unfortunately they didn’t figure that out until they gave him his extension. As they are finding out, the rest of the league think he’s an overpaid asshole as no one wants to trade for him.

We had one guy who quit in week 2. On our last trip to the chow hall we saw him picking up leaves with his hands. Our drill instructor halted us, faced us towards the guy, instructed us to raise an arm and point at the guy, and laugh. We mocked and laughed at him for about 30 sec. The drill instructor informed him that we were graduating the next day and told the platoon he still had “months left of doing **** work” until he was to be separated with an other than honorable discharge. 😂
