Since everyone is focused on Day 1 picks and possible scenarios, I wanted to change it up. Will we still be using an H-back now that Linehan is gone? According to Saban, our offense will not change much, so Im going to lean towards yes. If Alex Holmes is deemed to be ineffective, check out Vickers from Colorado or James from Tulsa. Vickers was a FB with good hands and James was a college TE converted to FB in the Senior Bowl. Check it out, maybe a 4th or 5th round possibility? (scroll down a little on the link page)

With needs at more important positions just don't see us taking an interest in a FB/HB in rounds 1-4. Not until one of our 3 7th rounders if any.

If we used the H-back prominently, it might be worth it, take a look at what Cooley does in washington... maybe a 5th rder?

The TE/FB from Tulsa is actually Garrett Mills, and even if we didnt want him as an H-back I'd still say nab him on day 2. He'd be a great receiver out of the backfield, and would fit Saban's demograph of multiple position players well. Plus I think his attributes are what Saban was looking for out of Heath Evans when he originally brought him in.

We don't have a 5th rounder. We used it on Manny Wright.
