The insertion of Yeremiah Bell into the starting lineup from the start would have meant two additional wins this year. Tillman was that bad and cost us with his cluelessness and lack of ability. I don't know if it was ego or stubborness keeping YBell on the bench but it was as costly as signing and starting Culpepper.

If Mularkey isn't fired after the season, Saban doesn't get it and will not get it during his tenure here. Linehan did so much more with about the same as Mularkey has. Linehan had Ricky Williams but not much else has changed.

We have to bring in big ticket free agents to make this a worthwhile offseason. We need a Briggs and/or Steinbach or an impact defender to allow the Dolphins to concentrate on getting some offensive playmakers Last year's bargain basement players and a so-so draft offered little impact. That got us way behind the eight ball right away.

I'm optimistic about the futures of Matt Roth, Anthony Alabi and Joe Toledo but not so hot on the futures of Derek Hagan and Cleo Lemon.

Didn't like the way Lemon floats the ball yesterday. Maybe he was nervous but he gave the defense way too much time to close on his throws.

The O-line is going to be fine with another year of continuity. Hadnot and Carey made big strides. I don't want to start over with a new line next year or even 60% of a new line. Even MacIntosh was OK enough to be given the chance to start in '07. Hopefully Alabi beats him out.

Keep Vonnie Holliday, cut K Carter unless he takes a big cut.

Buh-bye Manny Wright, Olindo Mare, Donnie Spragan, Andre Goodman, Tillman, Jeno James (if no pay cut) and McMike who at this point is useless.

Trade up for Calvin Johnson. It makes too much sense.

Just beat the Jets, that's all. Knock those clowns out of the playoff race.

i agree but mcmike on played bad yesterday...and spragan is an ok complimentary player but if we can get someone like adalius thomas that would be huge and we need a f-in qb

Crowder will one day replace Zach so we need 2 OLB's. Spragan dont cut it for me. Lets hope we use our draft picks and use them right.

Our QB situation still has huge ???????? all over it. Our CB's are terrible. We need one more LB. I would take that kid from Penn State (Posluzny) Get rid of Mare and while we are at it, get rid of the last tie to the wannstache era, Keith Armstrong.

Lemon's passes didn't seem to float; they seemed pretty right on to me. We need to see a bit more of him before we can know for sure.

the Phins are picking up speed in becoming the Detroit Lions of the AFC...years and years go by...we still have not found, nor drafted, a 'pedigree' quarterback...get real...

Ego and stubborness? Perhaps because as we saw yesterday he is a liability in coverage....or perhaps because Tillman beat him out in the offseason. But lets just call it something its not because I'm a biased fan:shakeno:

Saban gets it more than you. This I'm sure of.
And as a little tangent...saying all Linehan had that Mularkey did not was a Heisman winner, rushing champion, top pick, and our previous franchise player is a little silly.

Every team wants "big ticket" free agents. Because of things like the salary cap and the fact that players, not teams, make the final decision regarding where they play, along with countless other variables....this is not always possible. But you can continue to attack the FO as if they are meerly managing a Madden team

Good thing that your optimistc about two players who you've hardly ever seen play and probably know next to nothing about.... and have seen enough of Cleo Lemon in his quarter of play this season to know he dosn't have it. You clearly have some special talents.

You mean the same O-Line that is in its second year of "continuity" and has degressed if anything? We NEED to add linemen to this team.
Keep Vonnie Holliday, cut K Carter unless he takes a big cut.
If anything, the opposite will probably happen.
Buh-bye Manny Wright, Olindo Mare, Donnie Spragan, Andre Goodman, Tillman, Jeno James (if no pay cut) and McMike who at this point is useless.
Cut 5 starters and then what? Hope we can sign enough players to replace them and improve on their performance while still remaining under the salary cap? Okay.
Trade up for Calvin Johnson. It makes too much sense.
While I'd love CJ on this team....the chances of this happining are slim to none. And without knowing how the season will shape up, what the draft order is, FA's avaliable, or who will be targets in the top 10 picks of the draft...it makes no sense to be saying this now.
Just beat the Jets, that's all. Knock those clowns out of the playoff race
Finally...something without fault

Haha! makes sense? with all the needs we have?

What else would you call it when a playmaker like Bell sits and an absolute zero, a huge liability in coverage and otherwise, plays the first six games despite giving up huge TD's in almost all of them.

Saban gets it more than you. This I'm sure of.
And as a little tangent...saying all Linehan had that Mularkey did not was a Heisman winner, rushing champion, top pick, and our previous franchise player is a little silly.

No need to harp like a bitter old woman, little man. Ricky Williams was a backup RB who was great last year but by no means should have been irreplaceable. We drafted a franchise running back who was underutilized like all of our alleged skill players were by Mularkey. Your nitpicking and shallow arguments are silly.

Again, take your personal issues with me out of this. We need impact players and don't have enough draft picks to do this, we have to make a splash in free agency this year. The front office didn't do a good job last offseason, are you disputing that?

You might want to consult spell check and a dictionary. Regressed is the word you were looking for and the O-line actually has progressed (that means they've done better) this year. We don't need to spend high picks and lots of free agent dollars on lineman.

If anything, the opposite will probably happen.

Cut 5 starters and then what? Hope we can sign enough players to replace them and improve on their performance while still remaining under the salary cap? Okay.

Its done all the time, little man. Cut 5 bad to average players and try to replace them with better ones. Roster turnover in the NFL is very high every year.

While I'd love CJ on this team....the chances of this happining are slim to none. And without knowing how the season will shape up, what the draft order is, FA's avaliable, or who will be targets in the top 10 picks of the draft...it makes no sense to be saying this now.

Why should I take advice on my offseason wish list from a guy who can not think or spell? It makes no sense, why not? Because you say so? Ehhhhhhhh..
We're most likely going to be picking 12-14. CJ is a projected top 5 guy. QB's have great combines as do CB's and other players and its not inconceivable to see CJ slide down to 8-10 where we should do whatever we need to get him.

Does Miami have a bigger need than getting an offensive playmaker?

Do you VIP's think before you post or is automatically trashing other fans, ones who actually watch the games and pay attention, how you attain VIP status.

LMAO

Now you are jealous because you are not a VIP?:sidelol:

You are the one who needs to think before posting, do you realize how many picks we need to give up in order to get a top 5 pick?

I guess you are thinking we are just fine with the o-line, Db's, d-line:rolleyes:

Actually we are in better shape with the D-line and O-line than other positions. How many more young players do you want to add to the lines? Look at the number of picks and free agents we've brought in for both units and tell me again that these are top 3 needs.

We have far more pressing needs at WR, CB, QB, and OLB. Wake up VIP, very ignorant poster.
