Someone help me with this, This morning NFL radio Network said they are getting confirmation that Miami is indeed going to sign Porter. Im excited about this.
Randy Cross then goes on a 2 minute diatribe about "what in the heck are the Dolphins thinking" "What a big mistake" "Dont see him fitting in Miami Defense down there" Porter has only played in 3-4 and Miami is a 4-3, I dont see Porter be an effective rusher form the outside spot"

I guess my question is "what is randy Cross thinking"?

4-3? LMAO. my 95 year old grandmother knows that capers runs a 3-4. man, some people should save the world alot of trouble and just have their toungues removed.

I heard that on my way to work and it almost made me call the show. Did he even watch any of our games? Did he not see JT playing OLB? Seriously, I wish someone would have called and straightened him out.

the first year under saban we ran a 4-3 with some mix 3-4 sprinkled in. Last year we ran a more hybrid 3-4 allowing Jason Taylor to move around. I think this signing is brilliant cause you have three great lbs (thomas, crowder, and now porter) along with one of the most dangerous defensive players allowing him to either sit down as an end or stand up as a LB. wow this is going to be great.

Are you guys sure? I am pretty sure we tried to run the 3-4 under Saban in certain situations but I am pretty sure that failed and we are sticking with the 4-3. I might be wrong though. I remember JT falling back a year ago very few times and this past year never.

i think joey would be a great addition to our team considering he has su an aggresive passion while playing and he has played the same defense we do i disagree wit randy

You are kidding right?

We ran more of a hybrid last year, thing is . . . we want to be a 3-4 team, but Spragan wasn't the ideal LB for that. With Joey Porter and Capers with FULL control of the D . . . we will be a 3-4 team, tho u will see both JT and Porter up close on the line quite abit.

We were better as a 4-3 team last year, because our DLine was our strength, with Porter . . .our LB's will be our strength.

Let's write down how many "Professional Analysts" like this move compared to those who don't. I just KNOW that we'll get more positive talk about it then negative. Just watch

Awesome, I get what you are saying. With Carter gone and out dline getting old, it does see a shift is going to more of a 3-4 system. SOrry for my confusion. :(
