First of all, I don't want to talk about the figures of his deal and how cap friendly they are -- because we all know thats true. It looks like it works out really well for everyone.

McMichael has been inconsistent at times in the past, but has managed to get 3 TD's this year in big time situations. They gave him his deal.

I think we are about to see him explode in terms of production, a la Tony Gonzalez. He is already a vocal leader and is recognized by his team as such. He has the physical tools to be dominant. We're going to see a 10 TD+ season from Randy McMichael and I think he's good for 800 yards+. He got his money and he seems like the type of guy to be like "Okay, now I'm going to show them what they paid for."

Who else do you think we'll extend that we inked to one-year deals? You have to think that we'll hang on to Schulters if we had to go by play so far this year.... Who else?

I'm very excited to have Randy a dolphin for a long time. I don't see him being the guy to drop his production off because of the money. He's very local and a leader on offense. And yes I wouldn't mind seeing Schulters being locked up for a few more years.

I'm glad they did it now... it would have cost us a lot more if we had waited until the season was over. He's going to have his best year yet.

I don't know about the other 1 year contracts, but I love the way Saban waited until the perfect time to motivate a budding star and show the rest of the team that performance equals reward here.

How old is Holiday? Does anyone else think he's worth keeping around a while longer?

How about Traylor? I wonder how much he's got left in the tank?

I know people dont want to discuss this, but hopefully he keeps his hands off of his wife from now on..

No questions asked IF Traylor can give us the green light for 1-2 more years Sign him. He's worth every penny and can surprisingly still play at a Very high level.

Kevein Carter needs and extension.

He signed a 5 year deal im pretty sure. I think we should lock up Schulters now because I can only see him getting better when he learns the system completely.

Yes, I completely agree on locking up Shulters.

Can we give him Howards money?

I love the picture in the sig, absolutely LOVE IT. What a GREAT memory.

For that one incident, Bryan Cox will always be a Dolphin.

I am happy about this. I was worried about losing him. Plus he deserves it. He was one of the few guys competing last year on offense.

And yes I do hope he stays out of trouble. It sucks seeing a player you like so much doing something so wrong. It causes a huge moral dilemma. It is easier to try and just imagine that he is better now or that it never happend.

Yes he needs to avoid off the field problems. I'd bet that the contract he signs includes consequences of him not being able to perform based on off the field antics.
