I've been watching some of the games that I've recorded this year...and I've been trying to assess Ronnie's struggles and I've noticed that most of Ronnie's tackles behind the line of scrimmage have been a result of either Randy McMichael missing an assignment or flat out getting beat by his assignment

I was wondering has Saban noticed this? What do you think MIA can get for McMichael should Saban decide to trade him?

I know he only costs $1.3mil against the cap next year...but if we can replace him with a giant bulldozing TE that can catch as well as block, I think that the running game would improve

We also should replace Barnes with a bulldozing FB that can catch as well

Even though we do have many needs we need to adress through the draft i think we should really consider the FB from Rutger He's a lot better than Barnes who is horrible. he's a late second or early third.

How can you say that BARNES is horrible when the man has hardly played this year?

I say trade him just because he beats his wife.

.............wow..........................................................wow you really should watch our games................

McMichael hasnt impressed me too much this year, but... neither has the entire offence really... I dont think you can trade away a guy like him.. you know he can play, he's proven it, and will continue to do so once things really get straightened out here.

He was also missing blocks early in the year that were getting Harrington sacked. However, he got a game ball for his blocking from Saban in the KC game. So, I guess his blocking has improved?

Fred Beasley!!!!

Fred's abilities must have deteriorated a ton from a couple of years ago. I was shocked when he was cut Barnes and the way he's been playing, it's obvious that Beasley has passed his playing days.

Nah, the MIN game was after the KC game and Randy's missed blocks got Ronnie tackled behind the line of scrimmage

For those who say that TE and FB are the last of our problems just dont know football

Randy is "THE" problem in our offense...besides Joey's inaccurate throws downfield. And Ronnie sometimes missing the hole and running into a pile...

McMichael actually has a decent amount of catches this year. Atleast they are looking his way unlike previous years. I still think our strengths are running and throwing to the tight end with the occasional deep ball.

TE and FB are the least of our worries. McMichael is not the same TE he was 2 years ago but he's a player.
McMichael should be a starter until retirement. The Dolphins owe him that.

I guess you didnt read the original post..."randy's blocking is the reason Ronnie gets tackled behind the line of scrimmage and the reason Joey's been sacked a few times this year"

In other words, his lack of blocking skills is the "main" reason our Offense struggles to run the ball
