Randy Mcmike is fading away!!

I think he is a bigger liability then mare. I hope he isnt on the team next year. Let him go beat up his wife in some other city.

You guys are on crack..He made several key catches today..Stop blaming someone who is not part of a problem..

McMike's been disappointing but he never really got in a rhythm because he had to block for Culpepper all the time. He looked like he was going to break out with Harrington's emergence but is back to floundering again. That said, he's still a good TE and just needs some tweaking.

He's been playing well. It seems like he's just not the playmaker that he used to be. He used to be a game changing tight end now it seems like hes just average.
 
first off when the ball was thrown his way he mad some key catches secondly today as i was watching the game the announcers complimented him on how welll rounded he was at bpth blocking and recieving if any one else who watched on tv herd this back me up

isn't he leading the team in receptions and 2nd to welker in yards?!? .. or am i missing something:confused:

That's why I said he was disappointing. He's not a bad TE by any means but we're not really using him to his capabilities. The biggest problem I have with McMike is the money we're paying him aint the type you pay to blocking tight ends who catch for 30 - 50 yds a game. Another poster just commented that he thought he was starting to click with Harrington but then just disappeared again and I agree. He shouldve had 80 yds today against that Viking Def. I dont get how our offense only targets him for 30

He is 3rd in receptions and yards, and Booker is closing fast.

Also, here's how McMike stacks up against the Top Ten TEs in the league stats-wise:

Kellen Winslow 60 catches for 597 and 3 TDs
Tony Gonzalez 44 catches for 588 and 3 TDs
Antonio Gates 44 catches for 523 and 4 TDs
Alge Crumpler 36 catches for 483 yards and 6 TDs
Todd Heap 44 catches for 477 yards and 5 TDs
Desmond Clark 31 catches for 433 and 4 TDs
Randy McMichael 41 catches for 428 and 0 TDs
L.J. Smith 37 catches for 392 yards and 3 TDs
Chris Cooley 32 catches for 381 yards and 4 TDs
Jeremy Shockey 32 catches for 321 yards and 5 TDs
Owen Daniels 26 catches for 282 yards and 5 TDs

Anything jump out at you? That's right, he's 7th in yards, 5th in receptions, and LAST in TDs!!!

I say trade him for a 2nd round draft pick or a bona fide Center.

To be honest..I dont think we invisioned him being needed so much in the blocking game when we signed him to that contract. Randy has done very well within the scope of the offense he is part of.

u must be joking he stinks this season you can say what you want about his stats but the 0TD's is the one that i am concerned with, he just isnt the player that he should be i hope he is gone next season traded/cut, he just is not earning his pay.
