my assumption after reading the articles on miami herald and such...

ZT takes a major pay cut or he will be released/traded.

We will sign R. Moss with the money freed up via ZT and get our go to WR and then we dont have to draft CJ and instead we draft J Thomas at LT or Willis at ILB or Woodley at OLB if not via FA.

taht way, we fill those holes due to FA WR instaed of draft WR and go with a LB/LT via Draft.

Sorry, but randy moss is washed up. I would rather have a young ready to prove himself receiver.

i agree with most of what you said, but if we end up with a top 3-5 pick(i hope not but its looking more likely every game) are those players worthy of that high of a pick or should we trade down? my thought is CJ or trade down.

now thats just a crazy statement. oakland is a mess, walter is awful. moss is not washed up.
 
It would take a first or second round pick to get Randy Moss, and his salary is substantially more than Zach Thomas's salary.

both good points. but i wouldnt be too surprised to see a player and pick deal(maybe booker). moss wont be a raider next year and given the history with c-pep we would be stupid to not entertain the thought. having said that we would also be stupid to give up a high pick when we could draft CJ.
 
Your crazy to think Moss is washed up. If he was a team that had a QB he would be in his old form.
 
I don't think there is a very good chance of Moss coming here. With that said, even assuming we have him, Woodley and Willis are not top 5 picks.
 
Culpepper to Moss has been over for a couple years now. It aint gonna happen again. Moss is trouble. Culpepper has a bum knee.
 
Moss/Chambers/Hagan/Welker/Vick with a healthy Culpepper & an improved offensive line protecting him, and blocking for Ronnie Brown? Hell yes..

Oh, and for those who don't approve of Randy Moss, THIS IS FOR YOU.....
