Randy Starks with 13 people in his truck refuses to stop for officer on foot, then pins him between his truck and another vehicle.
What do you think, a Lynch like slap on the rist for a first time offence of this nature?

Sorry could'nt get the link to work, so I pasted it.

Miami Beach Police say the officer tried to stop the 25-year-old player when he was driving a truck packed with 13 people early Sunday in heavy traffic. They say the vehicle was meant for four people.
Police say Starks kept slowly moving forward even as the officer was beside the truck. They say Starks swerved the vehicle slightly, hitting the officer in the chest and pinning him against another vehicle.
The officer wasn't injured, but Starks was charged with aggravated battery.
Starks remained in a Miami jail Sunday afternoon. A message left at his agent's office was not immediately returned

The officer noticed that 13 people were riding in Starks’ vehicle, including a woman who was sitting on Starks’ lap.

The officer approached the truck and tapped on the side window, but Starks kept going.

Next, the officer knocked on the door. And Starks stopped.

Then, Starks abruptly turned the truck to the left and accelerated, pinning the officer against a vehicle in another lane.

Starks has been jailed on $10,000 bond.

The development doesn’t bode well for Starks’ career in Miami, especially since V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells famously has declared that he’s not interested in acquiring “thugs and hoodlums.” (Then again, Joey Porter is still on the team.)

Starks is signed through 2012 at a base salary of $2.625 million this year,
per NFLPA records. He joined the Dolphins in 2008 after four seasos with
the Titans.

No slap on the wrist for Starks. He used a semitruck to commit battery on a police officer.

Nothing at all negative with Kaleta's response.

I asked a question in a respectful way without being obnoxoius or critical, considering there's a Fin player for a change in trouble with the law and the only response is from a Bills fan. We've had to endure jibes like being the new Bengals etc., a lot of comments were posted when our players F'd up.

I figure his defense will go along the lines of I did'nt hear or see him until he started screaming and beating on the side of the car. Could work. The I didn't see her cross the street, feel her hit the truck line worked for Lynch.

But then again, it was dark and rainy and she wasn't a cop.

Funny how your the only one to reply, even after I made it friendly nuetral.

I wasn't taking the Lynch's side over Starks side. Both committed crimes but the severity of their crimes differed.

Lynch got misdemenor hit and run. Still a crime and I in no way applaud or support his actions. Slap on the wrist.

Starks is charged with Felony aggrevated battery. If the felony isnt dropped down then he will get the full wrath of Roger Goodell. I'm not sitting back laughing at the mess he has gotten himself into or giggling that he is a dolphin in trouble.

If I wanted to talk smack about Starks making this possibly life altering mistake I would have taken it to the depths.

Understood from the begining Kaleta. Your not talking smack.
Must be some misunderstanding along the line here.
