5 tackles and 1 sack

Is this guy not playing at a pro bowl level right now??? It seems every game he has a big tackle for a loss or a big sack. Where did he come from??? I think he was my favorite player last night on defense

He has been playing very well..

Big dude with an attitude..

Cracking heads..He gets alot of push upfront..

He is not playing at a Pro Bowl level, but his performance on the field is very good.

1 of the unsung hero of this team. Starks is a very good Dlineman. Problem is with the Ferguson injury, he'll probably have to play some NT and we all remember last year when we suspended Soliai and Fergie got hit in a game, Starks wasn't as effective...

LOL not to get on your thread, but the Fins have like 12 pro bowlers after last nights game. We are throwing that term around wayyyy to loosely.

Starks has been our best DE all season, but real talk . . . we have a FANTASTIC rotation with him, Langford, Merling and McDaniel. I am hoping we can keep those 4 for the next 2 or 3 years. We need to hit the draft and find a young talented NT early, keep devolping Soliai and keep Fergy around as a vet and our line is sweeeeet.

he has really transitioned into a 3-4 very well....i just which he had some more bulk so he could slide to the nose his just overall tenacity he would be the perfect NT

Expect Soliai, Dotsen, Starks and McDaniel all to get looks at NT with FErgy's injury.

the thing is, Starks has consistantly performed, win or lose. it's not too far fetched to think he can go to the Pro Bowl.

He's given us at least half a sack in 6 of the last 7 games. Can't ask for more than that.

Seems like most of them come on big third downs too.

Bout time someone gave Starks some props. The guy consistently has himself in position to make a play. Dare I say he might be the best individual player on our defense right now if Ferguson is out.

looks like a good stat line. it gets even more impressive when you look a bit deeper

1st and 10: tackle for 1 yard loss
3rd and 1: pressure on delhomme forcing an incomplete pass
1st and 10: tackle for 1 yard gain
2nd and 9: tackle for no gain
2nd and 3: tackle for no gain
3rd and 8: sack for loss of 7 yards

Randy is having a good year, but not a Pro Bowl year.
Actually, outside of Freeney, the AFC DEs haven't been amazing this season. By that comparison, Starks may be a pro bowler.
