My top 5 from worst to best:

5-Vernon Carey: former 1st rounder, I personally first thought he was going to be a bust but turned out to be one of the most (if not the most) consistant player of the offense. good pass blocker who is rarely beaten and great run blocker. a mauler.

4-Zach Thomas: I know most of you will disagree about this one but remember is talentwise not about production. thomas leads by example is one of the best players on the team. a tackle machine and as tough as they come. by far the most consistant of the team.

3-Daunte Culpepper: The injury really had a bad effect on his talent on the field but if he returns healhy for next season he has the ability to make the offense very prolific. he has a rocket arm with great touch on short/intermediate passes and he is very strong and hard to take down.

2-Ronnie Brown: powerfull runner, posseses breakaway speed, elusive, very strong, breaks tackes at will and has great hands. Ronnie is a very talented player who is yet to produce the numbers everyone expects. hopefully his 3rd year he will produce superstar kind of numbers under coach cameron

1-Jason Taylor: simply the best defensive player in business. he excels at rushing the passer but is also able to play the run almost as well. can bull rush or speed rush, he will get to the qb anyway.

If you're talking about pure talent, then that is actually Zach Thomas' lack. He's a smaller guy, not very fast or athletic, not a super athlete or anything of that nature. He knows the game reads plays better than anyone in the game. His strength is his smarts, and really, he's an undersized overachiever. A great one that that.

Talent wise, Chris Chambers has to be up there. He's a true underachiever.

I'll use production as my criteria since I think that's what you mean.

1. Jason Taylor - no explanation needed
2. Zach Thomas - how he does it still is unbelievable to me. What heart
3. Donnie Jones- May seem funny but for his position he's the man
4. Ronnie Brown - needs another linemen and a good fullback and then I think you'll see him explode
5. Carey - As a right tackle one of the best in the game

Sadly this makes up all of the top notch players we have currently. Crowder would be six. I didnt use Traylor or Holliday or Carter because I'm not sure they'll be back

1 Taylor. No contest.2. Zach. Brains and instincts are part of talent.3. Ricky. Don't count him out.4. Ronnie. Right up there with Ricky.5. Vernon. That boy is just beginning to hit his stride.

I pretty much agree with all of them except Zach. If we are going on pure talent, which I take to be things like speed, strength, and agility, I would say Crowder is more talented than Zach at this point.

Don't get me wrong here. Zach is a great player. But the question was who is the most talented. And to me, talent means raw physical ability. And I think at this point, Crowder has more of it than Zach.

Brains and instincts are part of talent.

Actually when scouting football, brains/instincts is far different than talent.

Marvin Harrison is probably the smartest receiver in the NFL, hense his greatness.

Where is he talent wise? I don't know, but he's not that far up there.

My list.....
Jason Taylor, Daunte Culpepper, Ronnie Brown, Chris Chambers, Channing Crowder.

Swap Daunte Culpepper with Yeremiah Bell and bump up Zach and Vernon.

How can anyone's list not consist of Chambers?

You can knock him on his focus or work ethic at times, but the guy is a freak of nature. He jumps 48 inches and runs a 4.33 40 yards dash. The guy has some amazing hands and has great field awareness. He has all the tools to be a great WR, we just haven't seen it yet. (Except the sneak peak in 2005.)

5. Ronnie Brown
4. Daunte Culpepper
3. Jason Taylor
2. Chris Chambers
1. Ricky Williams

That's my list and I'm sticking to it.

hmmm. got smarts? Then your untalented.

That means he is lacking in talent.

1. Jason Taylor - Every offense game-plans around this guy, but he still gets it done.
2. Zach Thomas - Linebacker extrodinaire, Zach is seemingly in on every defensive play.
3. Ronnie Brown - He hasn't had a breakout season yet but he's got all the tools necessary.
4. Channing Crowder - Hardly over-shadowed by Zach, this guy is a playmaker, he did a lot before it but that open field tackle on Larry Johnson this year sold me. He's the future of the Dolphins D.
5. Yeremiah Bell - This guy came out of no where and was the only real bright spot in our secondary.

Honorable mention - Keith Traylor, the run stuffer.
