Ranking every head coach worst to first

That's pretty reasonable and a justified explanation.

My major issue with the list is Sean Peyton in the top 10. No HC deserves to be that high being so one dimensional. He's clueless about the defensive side of the ball.

Todd Bowles: So unfair the Jets organization SUCKS...SUCKS.....SUCKS
Chuck Pagano at 18? more like 30
Gase at 14 based off of 1 season...come on

Pagano is a good coach. Not his fault that is owner is a drugged up loser.

I think he has survived this long because the owner is a drugged up loser.

.613 win percentage and 3 straight 11-5 seasons is admirable. If Luck heals the Colts will be right back in the swing of things.

My problem with that list is Tomlin. I don't think he's a good coach personally. McCarthy is overrated too

There seems to be a fairly significant drop off from 7 to 8. I'm not sure there are 3 coaches behind Payton that clearly belong in front of him to knock him out of the top 10. But he definitely doesn't belong mentioned alongside the elite coaches, that is for sure.

Thanks for posting, I always enjoy these articles. Now, on to the nit-picking:

Sean Payton at 8 is a joke. Guy doesn't care anymore and is more coked up than Jim Irsay.

Todd Bowles blows, he's the new Joe Philbin. I'd have him squarely at 32. Some of the comments he made after various Jets losses in 2016 were 'Magic Potion-esque.'

How the **** can a HC be overrated that's never had a losing season in 10 years (.644), has been to the playoffs 7 out of those 10 years, has a winning record in the playoffs, and a SB championship?

You guys are nuts.

I see guys like Tomlin and harbaugh as purely motivators. I don't think they know the first thing about X's and O's. To me it's like hiring Darren Rizzi or something to coach the team.

This is just my stance... He inherited a good team and coaching staff, Won a Sb right off the bat with that team. What has he done since? Big Ben is his savior. Tomlin is supposed to be a defense guy but his defense has been crap

The Harbaugh brothers have both been excellent coaches, whatever you think they are, I would take them as the head coach of my team any day.
