Schwartz is #1. I was surprised to see that he is 6'6" and 340 while playing so well In KC's ZBS. Asamoah is #2, and his run down is as perfect as you can find for a ZBS. They do not like Beadles as a VG option.

There is not a lot of talent for now but, would expect a number of good vets to be released before the start of FA. What we do here will impact the draft. IF we can get an Asamoah and a Deitrich-Smith, I don't see Martin as our best option, and Brenner is still a possibility.

I would like us to take a flyer on Mike Pollack

I would like that signing as well. He played C and both OG's, and would push to start or be VG for depth. I think he would team up very well with Brenner on our roster.

Dont think its much of a guard group.

Rookie guards please. One of them being Martin in round one

Yea Brenner has some slight poterntial but Pollack is definitely a better player. I like versatile guys. Now hopefully he wont be a drunk, drug addicted guy that likes to assault women or a menatally unstable guy

Agree for now, not an impressive group past the two guys from KC. In my "Phantasy FA" we get Asamoah and Deitrich-Smith with Pouncey moving to LG. That would be one hell of an interior ZBS OL.

From everything I have seen and heard of Brenner (some from Phins players), he is a workout warrior who will come back much stronger and better. I think it will take him another year to be a starter but, ya gotta love these kinda guys.

Asamoah and a rookie. None of this moving Pouncey stuff. With asamoah playing great and only 25 would be great and a top rookie from round 1-3 is where you get a line that lasts years on end.

If we are looking at a rookie, not named Martin, I would look for a vet band-aid to allow him to develop.

Since the whole line needs rebuilding, I would rebuild it with Pouncey at guard. From what I have read(and saw), he gives away the snap with his mechanics.
I would not wait until the FA flood gates are open. The best guys will already be gone. Target 1 or 2 of the best C/T in free agency (Mack) and get them signed. A lot depends on the draft and who falls to us.
The line can probably function with 3-4 veterans right out of the gate. If we have more rookies than veterans, there will be some issues to start the season.

LT - McKinnie((+draft pick-1st T Zack Martin)
LG - Brenner(+draft pick- 5th G Jon Halapio)
C - Mack(FA signed from Cleveland)
RG - Pouncey
RT - FA tackle(+draft pick- 4th T Juwan James)

Keep Garner as a reserve. Fill out the reserves with preseason cuts.

With the 2nd pick - RB Carlos Hyde
With the 3rd pick- ILB Chris Borland

Sign undrafted - Chad Abram FB

I would say if you can get a guy like Yankey, Jackson, Su'a Filo and there's a few more those guys are already ready to be day 1 starters. If you get a second teir guy then i would agree with bring a vet in but make them win the job in training camp and winner will start.

Let me know what you think of trading down with a team like SF who may be eyeing a DT or LB for the Bowman injury and getting that extra pick (snd round maybe?) and being able to get a guy like Su'a Filo, Moses and A top DT maybe Easly. That may be reaching and being optimistic but that can solve the OL long term and alow the DT to develop at a cheaper price

I think going into year with Mckinnie as starter will be epic fail prob resulting in getting Tannehill injured.

I put him in front of Zack Martin only because he is the incumbent. If we spend a 1st on Zack Martin, he will likely be starting. McKinnie played solid after taking over from JM.
Zack Martin may be worked into the starting rotation gradually. I am not sure how Hickey and Philbin will decide this. Going off of last year, there is a chance Martin could be brought along slowly.
McKinnie is a solid back up. I want him on the team.
