This is how Tannehill's first 3 seasons compare to other QB's who started fresh out of the gate. Both Luck and Tannehill have 3 more games remaining this season. Ryan averages 227 yards/game currently, so he is on pace to finish just shy of 11,000 yards (10,934) and if his completion percentage remains the same he will finish with the 4th best on the list while having attempted the 5th most passes.

Let the hating begin! :troll:

Dat Formatting...

Anyway, it's impressive he has accrued that much yardage already considering the deep ball woes and the fact his receivers are generally immune to YAC. Considering these circumstances, the only way he could accrue such gaudy yardage is because he is pretty accurate on the short to intermediate stuff and his passing has been serving as a quasi-running game.

I must say, it is impressive.
I do not see Brady in the list.

Eh... you really need to look at the big picture, which includes touchdowns and interceptions, and other efficiency metrics.

Raw yardage and completion percentage are not impressive. They don't tell you anything about how efficient the player is. If people are really interested, I can put something up later this week when I get back to the States. Might take people's minds off of the fact that the Patriots are going to crush us.

Since I imagine that question will pop up anyways. I believe this list is comprised of QBs who didn't sit for any length of time. They were drafted and started game 1.

What's his win loss record?

That's the only stat that matters.

My only concern in the end is the progression. The next leap is to start taking over ball games, reading a changing defense, running a no-huddle with efficiency, of course long ball, come from behind, put a defense on its heels.

He needs an OL or he needs to start playing to get rid of the ball much much quicker ala peyton. but for year 3 he is looking good. Some regress after reaching a plateau however.

Means nothing. Wins count.

Please tell me how the QB is the only one that affects the W/L column. That's my favorite argument to hear really. It's like saying if you insert the smartest kid into a class of 30, his test scores alone will elevate everyone else into glory...

Did you see luck put the team on his back and drive drive for the win last weekend?

Good QBs will overcome deficiencies in the team.

How are we anything like the Colts? I'll wait to hear back as I live in Indy and get to watch them more than the Dolphins. They have 2 big TEs in Fleener and Allen, seasoned vet WRs in Wayne and Nicks, one of the best young WRs in Hilton, a stout rookie WR in Moncrief, then you throw in the fact that Luck is undoubtedly the best QB to come out of the draft in the past decade, and just for fun you bring in Pep Hamilton who was with Luck at Stanford and knows how Luck plays inside and out...

We have two solid TE in Clay and Sims

Mike Wallace, Jarvis Landry(one of the best rookies), Hartline

Lamar Miller is having a better rushing season than any Colt

I sincerely hope you aren't insinuating that there is some sort of large gap between the two teams offensive weapons. The only gap between the two is the quarterbacks.
