Detroit isn’t tier 3 anymore. They’re the highest scoring team in the NFL by over 20 points, which is pretty relevant through 4 weeks.
They are also dead last in defense, are 1-3 despite playing three at home, and gave up 48 points to a Geno Smith led team. I'd call them tier 3.

After our strong start, with Tua in I wouldn't be worried about any team anymore.

With teddy in, it's iffy, glad we got thru the hardest part of our schedule. That's for sure

I see 11-12 wins hinging on Tua coming back in a couple weeks and playing the same level or better.

I've already said this a couple of times, so I'll make it quick. One of my 'tests' for Mcd is how he has the team prepared for 'lesser' teams. Miami has had a number of coaches who could pull out an upset or two, but lose to lesser teams. Mcd has somewhat shown he can prepare teams to play tough opponents. Now it's on to the softer part of the schedule. And I will NOT be happy pulling out razor-thin victories either. Miami is good enough it should be winning some games by 10-20 and NOT by pulling out a win in 4Q.

Long-lead in to say, until I see Mcd and Miami play 'lesser' teams and beat them clearly, I will consider ALL opponents as tier 1. If that places me in a minority, so be it.

To be fair, the Steelers are also 1-3 with back to back home losses to Mac Jones and Zach Wilson led teams.

No game is going to be easy at this point playing a backup QB. Our running game has been relatively poor, our defense has been gashed repeatedly with little pass rush and our best players in the secondary hurt and special teams has really struggled giving up kick returns and missing PAT’s/FG’s.

Our strength has been the passing game but with Teddy now for a while we will likely see regression. So nothing will be easy including the Jets this week.
