Now let's rank em' Patsies, Bills, Jets, and the Fish...Please provide solid commentary to support your ranking and also a record

Fins-Division Winners 10-6
Pats-9-7
Bills-7-9
Jets-6-10

Pats-Losing mangini will hurt a bit but Bellichick is just like Saban and will find a way. Pats though are on the decline for a few years and will be an average to above average team Not Elite!

Bills-New coach, shaky Qb and O Line spell tough times for the Bills. Jauron may build this team around the defense, similar to the bears of 01. I like that signing. Although a few yrs away and players, this team can be solid in the years to come.

Jets-poor Maangini has alot of work cut out for him. The defense though will be solid and a good defense is much more important than a good offense. Team struggles.

Fins-Saban is pure genius. New OC is very creative like Linehan and Capers runs a 3-4 scheme. For those that say coaching isn't important please take a look at these fins. With a fewof the right pieces put in place this team will contend for a SB in 1-2 years

how did this end up in the draft forum?

For some reason known only to him, the thread-starter decided the draft forum was the right place for an analysis of the AFC East teams.

Pats-Will not be anything below average. WIll be a solid well coached team but not a true superbowl contender. Their running game will continue to struggle and their front seven will diminish in effectiveness due to age. 9-7

Bills- May be marginally better than last year but will continue to struggle. Their defense will improve from last year but their offense will remain just as troublesome. Lossman will only improve slightly if at all and their weak offensive line will hurt their running and passing game. 7-9

Jets- Will slightly improve from this year, but will be in a rebuilding stage. Their offensive line will have some large gaps and their offense will not be much stronger than this year. Their defense will be strong but the loss of abraham will hurt their pass rush and defensive line. 6-10

Fins- Will struggle a bit early on due to adapting to new offensive and defensive systems, but will become much stronger as the season progresses. 10-6

IMO the division will be won by either the pats or fins, but I am going to go with the fins. Its tought to say now before the offseason has really begun, especially when you don't know whats happening at qb for the fins.

This from a Chiefs fan who has no idea his HC is a Moron leading them to a trap door!!!!!

Ask any AFC east fan if they want Herm as a head coach...I bet the only ones who say yes are those who like busses and Kool-aid...

Way too early to give predictions, everything would be based on last year and there are alot of moves to be made. if you told me all teams were healthy and had the same teams as last year i'd go NE, NYJ, Mia, Buf but that's not the case. I can't give a realistic view until we see what moves are made.

The Patriots are still the king of this division until someone beats them. They had tons of injuries last year and will be much stronger and motivated next year.

The Dolphins, Jets, and Bills, are not going anywhere until we find consistency in the QB play.

We can kid ourselves all we want, but we need a QB to win. The Patriots have one, and we dont.

Be a homer if you want, but the Fins are an average team without a QB, as are the Bills and Jets.

Whoa...where does this come from? I admit I am not exactly thrilled with the hiring of Herm. especially because i live in NJ I get to see all the Jets games and I know his flaws quite well. But I am willing to give him a chance.

Ask me for specific predictions after the draft and free agency. But I think it is safe to say that Miami and New England should compete for the division title (and perhaps a first-round bye) while the Bills and Jest will sissy-fight for the #1 pick in the 2007 NFL draft.

Pats 14-2 thay will come back mad and will kick @ss and take names.1st seed
Fins 10-6 still having prolbems at QB.WC
Jets 7-9 Chadwick last for 6 games before he goes down.
bills 4-12..thay are the bills, what more can I say :sidelol:

We should at least wait until after the draft to start predicting things.
