He has teams with massive instability ranked VURRRY high, and why is everyone infatuated with the Eagles this season?
I'd rank Pitt ahead of NE. They've won two SB's since NE claimed their last title. Recently, I think NE's been getting away with what made them a great team. They built their title teams much the way that Pittsburgh built their title teams (much the way we're building this team): through the trenches with the draft.
NE's still in the top 2 or 3. I just think that the Steelers are clearly better. Also, there has been less negativity swirling around Pittsburgh, and I think that should count for something.
Schein is an obvious axe wound. The Dolphins made a massive jump last season, and they're putting the pieces together without cutting corners. That the Dolphins are doing all the little things, from their players to their coaching staff to the FO, makes this my favorite time to be a Dolphin fan (keep in mind, I started watching them in the early 90s). It's the first time I've experienced the Dolphins knowing exactly what they're doing. I don't think there are 10 other teams in the NFL that can - truthfully - say that they know exactly what they're doing.
I don't think the Eagles should be ranked ahead of us - let alone at number three. The Raven just lost their DC and arguably their best defensive player. The Cardinals? The Jets? The Cowboys? And rating the Browns lower than the Raiders is just stupid.
