Rant about changing QB's to take advantage of opposing D's weakness

The issue isn't that if Feeley performs, Wanny will keep him in. The idiocy in that article and Wanny's statement just shows a lack of judgment and leadership.

You have basically a rookie QB, who you keep describing as "the guy who only has 13 starts since high school", who's starting his first game for you. Why even make the comment about switching based on matchups. You had the will not pick a starter all pre-season. You can't have the will to not throw into the entire media the fact that Feeley's job is NOT secure?

I want Feeley to do well. I think he will do well. I just don't understand why you'd whack his knees as he's going to do his job... FOR YOU WANNSTEDT.

I'm just befuddled. :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
the only way AJ loses this job is like byroan said....75 yards passing and three Ints.....NOT gonna happen.

AJ has already PROVEN that he can put up Jay-like numbers at the very least.

The only way Jay gets on the field again this year is due to injury.

I hope so but with Wanny as HC I have no idea what could happen from week to week.
 
Surefire way to kill AJ's confidence: rotate QB's.

I've defended Dave up until this year when he went through the preseason and named Fiedler the starter for opening day.

I was seething mad at him for that, and then when Jay had his horrible performance, I was going to give Dave a pass IF he put AJ in by halftime. He did so I wasn't mad. We could have won that game had Dave done the obvious and named Feely the starter from week three of the preseason, but no matter. Now I read this nonsense that he's going to alternate the QB's depending on the opponent. Is he insane? DOes he want to totally destroy this team's chances of being successful? I hope this is a smoke screen to give our future opponents pause when preparing for us, because if Jay Fiedler ends up starting any game this year (non injury induced) Rick Spielman is going to have to step in and stop the mad man.

Just when our team is rounding into form. Leave the guy in there that can actually hit the receivers when their open. I don't care what Fiedler has over you (incriminating photos etc.). Stop the madness Dave and go with Feely.
 
Can AJ throw the ball more then 30 yards accurately? If so I think he's better then Jay.

After all..as soon as he came in he was actually looking for the open recievers. I like the fact McM had 8 catches or whatever. I've been waiting to see this guy get the ball more.


Btw, did anyone else see that pass Shockey missed that was right in his hands that could have went for a TD? I thought it was funny :goof:
 
Aj needs to come out and have a great game.I just hope Wanny doesnt get all run conservative. I would love to see Miami go playaction and deep on the first play for the offense.
