Rasul Douglas declines offer

I know all the die hard Dolphin fans want this to be a player passing on their FAVORITE NFL team that they cheer for because the team sucks and has always sucked and will always suck............................buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut this is likely about money.

Sorry but you guys will have to find another reason to sh*t on your team.
Don’t worry they will think of something

Isn’t he mostly a slot? I rather have Gilmore. He prob is more expensive

Offering a deal to Douglas kind of flies in the face of a lot of people's theories that we may be moving to more man coverage. There are better options out there if that is the case. Unless it was a minimum deal to be a role player, which I doubt he'd accept, given that this will likely be the final multi year contract of his career.

Not that I make a habit of defending Grier but if they’d have paid Campbell what he wanted we would have lost Holland’s 4th round compensatory pick. A 4th rounder for a one year rental of a 39 year old? Not sure that move deserves criticism.
Yeah true I hadn't thought of that

That's disappointing. Not many veterans out there. Maybe Gilmore?
I almost want to roll with what we have and find out exactly what we have. It could be ugly, but I'm of the same opinion as Chad that we've sunk enough resources there for the time being.

If all of these secondary players cannot play, then we need to replace them ASAP. That would be next offseason. Ideally, a player or two steps up.

According to the Miami Herald Rasul Douglas Visited Miami but he declined their offer Hes off to visit Seattle. Dont know if he would be a good addition or not
That just tells me he’s a winning player
