One thing I like about this article is that it makes me feel a little better, lol. I've been saying for quite some time that to me, Brohm looks like the best bet to be a true franchise QB in this draft. While I think this article rates Flacco too low, I think it's dead-on with Brohm. Some people call Brohm a system guy, but that's not right because he mastered 2 different systems and never even had a blip on his accuracy or read-and-react, which are the 2 biggest parts of being an NFL caliber QB. When OLB's, DE's and Safeties are flying at you and the DT's are collapsing the pocket, you've got to be calm and confident enough to work through your reads and pick a good option, then you've got to have the awareness to know when to throw, and most importantly, be accurate delivering the ball. I just think Brohm is the best mix of those 3 things.
Ryan certainly does well against pressure, but I fear he may become a Jake Plumber who looks great sometimes and loses games for you other times. Parcells and his litany want good game-managers as QB's, people who will do what they're told and not lose games. Then they wear away at their opponents and let the defense win games for them. Ryan doesn't really fit that mold, but I think either Brohm or Flacco would.
