To stem the tide of the off the handle Tannehill threads that are plaguing the forums.



Ryan Tannehill is a tough M'fer who is neither the cause of, nor the solution to the Dolphin's problems.
 
I think with the right players and right coaching staff Tannehill can be a productive starter. But is that good enough? Because I feel like the same can be said about most backups in the NFL.
 
I think we have seen Tannehill's peak and its around top 14-12 QB in this league. Not quite good enough for the Playoffs and if so only a Wild Card. He can't beat divisional opponents. Seems to have his worse games in the division. It shouldn't be such a surprise and talking point when he connects on a deep pass, just shows how we don't expect it to happen. If the o line gets fixed for next season it will be Playoffs or he is out of Miami no matter what.
 
I'm actually starting to feel bad for the guy because I don't think he's getting to realize his potential and thats not acceptable on the NFL level. The Dolphins aren't helping him succeed and hopefully we finally get the staff in here to help this guy grow. He still lack some intangibles you would like to see by now but overall I think he's talented. At this point I want him to succeed just to shut that nasty bitch Miko up. He's going to at least get another year and I'm ok with that
 
When the main defense is the guy's tough, it's because he isn't very good. He's sufficient for next season but until we find one of the elites or near elites the search must go on.
 
An average NFL QB that looks good when the pressure is off and horrific when the pressure is on.
 
I would not be surprised to see a change at QB next year.

Who ever takes over will have PLENTY of tape to watch and be critical

and you can BET they will see all the ugly flaws & not the pretty wife or the space cowboy smile
 
If you were to be the new Coach or GM this offseason, would you base your future on Tannehill?
 
I will say that for as much as I hear the sarcastic "It's ALL Tannehill's fault" rhetoric, I feel like that same contingent blames NOTHING on Tannehill like ZERO. Like he's a perfect player who would never throw an incomplete pass if it wasn't for the rest of the team. He certainly has his faults as the entire team does. At 5-11 everyone is accountable
 
Yeah I'm not a tanne fan anymore but I do feel bad for the guy. He gets hit way too much

When exactly has the pressure ever been off? It's more like tannehill looks good when the pressure is on and horrific when the oline just act like turnstiles or don't show up.

Of course he is just the QB ! Marino had monster protection all his life it's insane what Tannehill has to deal with . My hat off for Tanny
