Jamison Hensley, of the Balitmore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said he spoke with agent David Dunn, who represents free agent QB Kerry Collins (Raiders) and Detroit Lions QB Joey Harrington, but indicated nothing surfaced from the meeting. Asked if he expected to pursue a trade with the Lions for Harrington, Newsome said, "Not at this point."

I don't really get from that, that they aren't interested in Collins. Just says they are not interested in Harrington.
 
well i would be real happy to have Collins as our backup. Hell to have a backup better than last year's starter would be quite a coup.
 
I hate collins. Id rather start a rook. Im sure the rook wouldn't throw as many picks in a game as collins would. That article really doesnt say much
 
Sounds like the Ravens are not ruling out Collins...I would rather have Collins than Joey.
 
They're are not interested in trading for Harrington but are interested in signing Collins is what I get out of that article.

supposingly tho, mcnair just sed to the titans to release him, heard this on mike n the maddog, and that the titans will prolly release him the next few days and is very likely to end up with the ravens
