Before I go to bed, I just want to post something I have been arguing with friends. Joe Flacco was not as good as advertised. In a team which was heavily run oriented he had very few passes to throw. All he needed was a good defense to challenge him and hold and behold, he (cough cough) CHOKED!

What makes it sweeter is that he had 3 picks (payback for the Miami game?)

Although he did good this season it is now safe to say. I TOLD YOU SO!

Raven fans... please do not come here and make excuses. The Ravens are who we thought they were!!! And we let em off the hook!!!

Post your thoughts of this Flacco clown.

he showed his true colors against the steelers, yes.

Doesn't change how OUR game went though.

I hate the way everyone was praising Flacco for his "performance" in the first two playoff games. He didnt even complete 50% of his passes and had a whopping 1 TD pass combined in the first two games. By no means am I saying he is going to suck, but he was just along for the ride. Nothing more.

You also see the light. He was getting too much praise but could not come through. I could not agree more with your statement bro. Should have bet on that game!

Here is something that goes with the moment. :sidelol:

He didn't choke! He played like a rookie. SO F'in what if he where a dolphin. You'd all be saying "Flacco has got a bright future"! Which BTW he does!

He out player our QB in MIAMI! So I guess Pennington showed his true colors against the Ravens as well!In football you exploit a weakness IF you have the capacity to do so!

Actually he only played as bad as our QB when facing a top tier defense. Flacco did nothing against us if we don't throw all those interceptions we win. Especially when one of them goes for a TD, Flacco only did enough to not lose the game.

Flacco went flaccid -

Guy doesn't seem to play with any real emotion, looks scared and always seemed confused. Maybe just because he's a boy rookie facing NFL man reality.

He may end up like Joey Harrington if the Ravens aren't careful.

Umm...whenever I heard someone talking bout the ravens, it was always about that monster defense. I think that Flaco was playing better than they expected but I don't think he was ever the identity of the team.

i was also sick of "flacco". the greatest rookie qb since marino. ha ha ha

Meh, you guys are ridiculous. Obviously he isn't Peyton Manning, but he did help his team get to the AFC Championship game. He's got on absolute cannon and when he hones his decision making he's going to be very dangerous. I hate him in interviews too because, you know, he beat us, but get over it guys.

I said it in another thread after the Ravens beat us: the only way that the Ravens would lose was if their offense (namely the QB Flacco) lost the game for them, which he did.

He has a good arm but he stares down the receivers. If it wasn't for the ravens defense we wouldn't even be having this conversation. He is ok for a rookie but the media played him up like he was the 2nd coming of marino. If the "almighty Flacco" with the "golden arm" would have tried hitting some shorter routes yesterday he would have had better luck. see ya next year rookie qb. (my words are more directed at the media than you)

You're the clown. First off, I would think that everyone here hopes Henne has as at least as much success as Flacco in his first full year when he gets the chance. Secondly, we can only hope that the Dolphins defense develops into a unit (like the Ravens) that doesn't require the QB to have to do everything. I'm betting that as a Dolphins fan you would love that, right?

Personally, I think Flacco is going to be a very good player. Lastly, if I recall, the Ravens fans that did come here before (and after) our game seemed very respectful. The only reason any of them would come back is if they recall certain finheaven forum members making thoughtless comments about their team before and after our game.

You're a real class act there!

I wonder how Miami would have played with an IR list 18 players long.

The bogus roughing call was a game changer, and took the wind right out of our sails. That would have 3 more points had big Ben not accidentally run the clock out on himself, but it should hae been the Ravens ball with good field position, and a chance to score before the half was over.

I hate to break this to you but Flacco wasnt winning that game for you yesterday. I dont care who you had on the field.
Flacco's success was based off a great defense and good running game. When he had to do anything other than throw bombs into double coverage he didnt play well. What more do you expect out of a rookie QB?
Flacco might end up being a good QB in the future but when the defense wasnt there to hold him up he looked lost.
